Look.

This film looks brillaint as we all think, which it does.
The film gets the charecter of Spidey and Parker perfect with his shyness, quips and teenage awkwardness. Spider-Man is funny, lanky and scrawny, yet rough.

Gwen is just perfect and cute, especially lovevable and more than just a damsel in distress.
Conners/Lizard seems to be a perfect villan. Conners can be seen as menacing yet you feel for him, Lizard is mean, big and scary yet in the fm you will feel his emotions.

The action and 3D are breathtaking to the likes of a Cameron film dare I say, the fights above the city look brillaint and should be remberd. CGI looks pretty good and all round well.
Story wise it has depth and connections, twists I can see but I dont know where that leads yet.

So in all sense how can you hate this film so far?

I'm looking forward to it, but let's give the haters the benefit of the doubt and remember that not everyone is as horny for this film as you?

Don't trust guys on imdb that claim that they have seen the movie...

Woke up in a bit of a Spider-Man mood today. I keep forgetting there's a new Spidey film coming out this summer. I love everything I've seen on it so far, but it keeps getting lost in the shuffle of my mind.

No experience of how advance screenings go, but I would have thought that the Studio Executives see these things way in advance, so that if they dictate any changes that require further shooting, there is time to do it.

"Pleasantly enjoyed most of it". "8/10". "Most execs were "Meh" because of some of the rough cgi but we "loved" the fact that it seemed like it had potential."

lol he *gave* it an 8/10. Saying Sony Imageworks was still "touching up CGI" (which is true) and that Denis Leary *is okay as Stacy*.

One thing he said though I'm disappointed with, but that's all. It seems like it can be a great film if all of this is executed correctly.

Those are things that ANYONE even remotely following the movie could say. As everyone else has said, it's IMDB - the Mos Eisley of movie sites. It has absolutely no more merit than me saying this:

I was the projectionist at the Sony Exec screening. The movie was dumb, but Andrew was okay. There's a couple lizard fights and Gwen eats a booger.

I don't think TDKR was groundbreaking. Did Heath Ledger's performance put it over the top? Perhaps.

well I think you will be disappointed no matter what if you expect something groundbreaking like TDKR. That is the conclusion of a trilogy of great movies. This is just the beginning. Maybe the sequels have a shot at being ground breaking, but this one will probably have the impact of Batman Begins. It was really good but not ground breaking.
Also, if the guy on IMDB is telling the truth, and his only complaint is the CGI, then that is actually pretty great to hear.

Actually Batman Begins wasnt that good a movie,earned only about 350ME

I don't need this to be groundbreaking like TDK or TDKR (which we don't even know is groundbreaking yet), I just want a damn good Spidey movie, something I haven't seen since SM2 in 2004. I want a Spidey movie, than IMO, is at least as good as SM1. If this movie is at least as good as SM1, I'll be very happy.
