Wait why is it believable?

He isn't saying ridiculous stuff, and he isn't being bias. He's saying stuff that really anyone with a close I eye for this movie could say, it's believable. Whether it's true or not is another story.

Really? I like it a lot. I think that it is tied with TDK for me now. Also, I wasn't really talking about how much money it made (I assume that is what you are talking about. not really sure what ME stands for. Million Euros?) but how well received it was.

I'm happy with most of the things he said about it, he told me he thought it was the superior Spider-Man movie.

Message me what he says about TAS-M. I'd like to see. I don't believe it since it's on IMDB, but I wanna see if it sounds too over-the-top to give us a hint with how fake the "review" is.

I don't think TDK was groundbreaking. Did Heath Ledger's performance put it over the top? Perhaps.

Yah...nothing says groundbreaking when it most likely gave this Spidey reboot the push it needed to be more grounded with its approach. That's not groundbreaking at all when it gives inspiration.

Actually Batman Begins wasnt that good a movie, earned only about 350ME
Didnt like it personally aswell

It's fine if you didn't like it personally, but saying it wasn't that good of a film only because of how much money it made is a STOOOOOPID reason. The Transformers trilogy made a butt load of money but they sucked.

Ah sorry Million dollars, got that 'ME' habit due to discussion football transfers too much

TDKR could suck, just like this movie could suck. I'm setting the bar for TDKR to be as good as BB.

I enjoy BB and TDK equally myself, so setting the bar to be as good as BB is pretty much raising the bar to be as good as TDK for me, lol.

Yup.

The quips better be true. Again, I hope Garfield delivers, because they sound funny.

Can I have those spoilers as well? Thanks!

The spoilers.....they'd feel good.....but I'll lose myself to them. They'd turn me into something greedy...

Wait for the movie i remember back in 2007 and i spoiled Spiderman 3 and when i saw it wasn´t surprising and it turned out boring and i enjoyed just the little i didn´t know but was pretty boring

Read the spoiler,Gotta say the info sounds a lot credible than I though. However someone carefully following the trailers/news/wallpapers/interviews can piece them together aswell.95% of the info most of us would easily deduce without watching the movie

Anyway sounds like a great movie(2-3 points sound disturbing to me though) Feeling more confident now

I'll just go ahead and say he's right until he's proven wrong. I'm looking at different articles trying to discredit him.

Hm...ah, hell. Someone send me the spoilers. I have nothing to lose.

Hey I'm new here I've been lurking for a while. and can someone pm me the spoilers.

Since we are in "The Amazing Spider-Man (Spoilers)" section, I'm just gonna tag it and post it. I don't want to keep sending out messages. That's so those who read it, can talk about it, just tag it!

I'm just gonna copy and paste everything he has told me. Things in Bold is what I think.

-The Ganali Device becomes a pivotal part in the third act. It turns people into Lizards and and is worked from Connor’s serum and Oscorp’s radio tower, which sends an energy wave throughout the city.

-Connor’s turns into the Lizard three times. Once on accident, which leads to the Bridge/sewer scene. The other two are on purpose, because he enjoys becoming the Lizard. This is something I hate if it's true. I don;t like the fact that he likes being the Lizard. It also seems like he has to reinject everytime to become the Lizard, which ruins the whole "Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde" persona of Dr.Connors/The Lizard

- Doctor Connor’s is jailed, and forgets Spider-Man’s identity because it was the LIZARD who knows, not Connor’s. They are two different people. Could be interesting. However, if they are two separate beings and Connors doesn't know what Lizard knows, then ho can Connors enjoy it?

- (Spider-Man to Lizard) “Connor’s I didn’t know you were a schizophrenic!”

-The film ends with Peter’s monologue about continuing the search for his parents information, and carrying out Uncle Ben’s speech about responsibility. Also intercut with Ray, (C. Thomas Howell’s character), speaking to New York about how Spider-Man saved his son.

-Gwen and Peter are NOT together at the end. (After Captain Stacy dies.)

-The final battle takes place on top of Oscorp. After the Ganali device is destroyed, it turns everyone back to normal. Spidey and Lizard duke it out on top of a wrecked Oscorp tower. Lizard “times out” and transforms back to normal. Cap Stacy dies from debris falling from the fight. Spidey's shooters run out, causing him to not catch the debris in time. I love this, this is the classic "****, I ran out of webbing" moment I love. I hope this is true.

-During the final battle Spidey’s web shooters run out, causing him to get beat up very badly. He falls off the tower, and reloads in mid-air. It’s a first person shot. VERY cool, and will probably be neat in the 3D showings. I love it!

-Stan Lee’s cameo is amazing. Though it seems a little out of place. Cool

MORE INFO!!!

1)How is Peter Parker's Spider-bite origin handled?

It’s handled “well” I suppose. There is a a good 10-15 minutes before the bite. He gains his powers after waking up on a subway he rides home, using it to beat up some thugs that smash his skateboard.

2)Does Captain Stacey die and if so how? feel free to give a scene description

Yep. Leary kicks the bucket. Spidey and Lizard battle on the roof after the Ganali device,( lizard machine attached to Oscorp towers). Debris falls as Spidey runs out of web fluid. WAS NOT suspecting that. Very shocking.

3)How much time does Parker spend without his mask?

As Spidey, he spends the few seconds with Ray’s child in the car and then the final battle on top of Oscorp. Much blood is shown, actually. Also comes off at a point in the library, but is put back on. AND is taken off while confronted by Stacy. (Though only Stacy finds out who he is).

4)How many people in the film know Parker is Spider-man?

Gwen Stacy, Lizard, and Captain Stacy. Doctor Connor’s does not, because when he does figure it out, he is the Lizard, who is a different person within itself.

5)Are there any truth to the rumors of Sony execs hating the film? If so, then why?

I pleasantly enjoyed most of it. Some people were meh, mainly because the CGI was still a little rough. Other than that, “we” loved that it seemed like it had potential. Very good overall.

6)How many transformation does Lizard have in the film?

Three. The first is vile and sinister. This leads to the bridge scene, where Lizard goes after Dr. Ratha. (Who had more information on Peter’s father’s formulas. These activate more of his Lizard-device.) The other two are the sewers/school and the final fight

7) Do we see any Swat Lizard minions and if so how is it handled?

We do see a few SWAT minions. It seemed a little corny, but it worked. They aid the Lizard, but are quickly transformed back by Peter destroying the machine.

8) How much does Uncle Ben's death affect Peter as a character in this film?

Peter actually accepts that with great power comes great responsibility. He is kind of a hero from the start. The death pushes Peter to be more driven as a hero of New York.

Part 2

1) Does Ben die before or after Parker becomes Spider-Man?

Before. Peter tries to a vigilante but let’s one guy get away for being irresponsible.

2) how does Captain Stacey's death affect Peter and Gwen's relationship

Gwen is terribly upset. Peter visits her near the end of the film and she smacks him. It affects them heavily. Peter feels very guilty. He is also afraid to show up at his funeral.

3) How exactly does Parker get his powers? because rumor has it that there was something in Parker's DNA that the bite activates.

It was kind of left as a mystery. It is revealed Peter had a place in his DNA that had Spider-Man’s powers. If he got bit by the radioactive spider his dad was working on, it would “unlock” these powers. However there is still mystery, because there are plans for the origin to span more than THIS film.

4) What exactly is the dynamic between Curt Connors and Richard Parker?

Curt and Richard were working on genetic experiments for Oscorp under the authority of Dr. Ratha and Norman Osborn, (who is alluded to). They were working a lot on spiders. It is not revealed how Peter got the place in his DNA. (AS far as I could tell. Again, there are two sequels that will flesh this out more.)

5) What is everything that happens on the "Road to Parker becoming Spider-man" in place of the whole wrestling thing?

No wrestling at all. Peter tries to be a vigilante, but acts irresponsibly, goofing around. He gets an ego, and lets a thief get away, (ala Ultimate Spider-Man).

6) Is there anyway you can give me an indepth description of Parker's evolution as a character in this film?

Peter is very interesting. Andrew Garfield plays him as a shy, awkward teen. He’s not “emo” from the start but very quiet. Before the bite he stands up to Flash, and gets beat up. This is how he meets Gwen Stacy. After the bite, he stands up to Flash a lot, and asks Gwen out. The death of Uncle Ben forces Peter into the Spider-Man role more. He feels responsible not only to be Spider-Man, but to stop the Lizard, because he created him. At the end of the film, he gives a monologue, (very touching), and realizes his role as Spider-Man.

7) How big of a role does his scientist level intellect play into this film?

He creates the webshooters. Very cool scenes of him testing them out. During a field trip to Oscorp he impresses Connors with his Biology knowledge. This comes into play with him finishing the Lizard’s formula. He is VERY much smarter than Raimi’s Peter.

EVEN MORE INFO!!!

1) There was a lot speculation that Uncle Ben would die after Peter becomes Spider-man. In the trailer during the dinner scene, there is a line where in which Gwen says "Peter live with his aunt AND uncle", and it was revealed in a viral that Peter is already Spider-man at this point. Is Uncle Ben still alive at this point?

He dies BEFORE. At the dinner scene Gwen says he lives with his aunt and uncle. However Ben is dead. Peter doesn't have enough in him to correct her, and changes the subject to his parents.

2) Spider-man has his first encounter with the car thief, also speculated to be Uncle Ben's killer. Does Spider-man already know that the car thief is the killer or is this something he comes to realize halfway through the entirety of the scene?

Nope. Not the guy who kills uncle Ben. Just a normal thief.

3) How many "physical" appearances do Peter's parents make in the film? Are they just merely mentioned later on?

There is a flashback or two. They aren't in an actual scene. They are mentioned quite a few times, both by Uncle Ben, Aunt May, and Dr. Conners.

4) How does Peter get into trouble which then causes Uncle Ben to come to school? Some details perhaps?

Peter is playing basketball in the gym durring PE. He humiliates Flash and then pushes him around in the locker room. Flash feels "threatened" and harrassed, so he tells the principal. This leads to Uncle Ben coming to Peter's school.

So that's pretty much it. He said their are still CGI touch ups being done, the "Did you tell the boy about his father?" guy is Norman, he gave it an 8/10, he doesn't graduate High School, and he says a lot of quips.
