LMAO, wtf is going on in here

I'm with you..I been out all day, come back home and see all these spoiler tags and then see what is up..weren't some of you worried about them showing too many clips from the movie and the possible idea of too many trailers and just not wanting to see all that material? If this guy is right, then wouldn't this just be just as bad, if not worse than just putting the pieces together in your head? Is it possible to still really enjoy a movie if you know so much about what's going to happen?

Just came back from MIB3. Saw the first look behind the scenes segment on ASM. Few clips here and there. One with Pete warning captain stacey about connors at the police headquarters, and some badass behind the scenes stunts. Oh and Pete screaming to what seems to be the lizard in the library. He screams, "stop Dr connors this is not you, you have to stop!" Or something like that. Oh I can't wait for this movie.

Saw that too, very dope and a good little segment. Completely forgot about the scene with him warning someone but I didn't think it was Stacy and it looked to me that they were in Oscorp but you might be right

Exactly... these people are killing it for themselves, they just don't know it yet.

Ah crap, why did I do it. I told myself I wouldn't watch anymore footage after the 3rd trailer and I would get away from here...ughgh.

I mean, how can the movie impress you with where a story goes if you already know it's coming? Maybe that's just me, you and a couple others who feel that way but I can't say I've enjoyed a movie if I know exactly what's going to happen in it and am spoiled a bit. Now, if it's a movie I've already seen, then yeah I can go back and watch it time after time again and still love it, like the Godfather or Tango and Cash (love it, don't care what anyone says :woot: ) but idk man, this just seems like a risky proposition

oh yeah that was stacey and there were police officers walking around. As much bank this movies going to make its gonna catch a lot of people by surprise. It truly is the underdog, as casino royale and Batman begins were on their release.

Only a month left...and so no means no! Hopefully I'll hold off on the early reviews too.

My theory is that in the first movie captain stacy will die and gwen and peter break up(like mr "sony exec" says) because (like in the comics) peter thinks he is responsible for his death. The second movie gwen will die at the hands of the green goblin and mary jane will be introduced towards the end, the reason for this is because everyone knows mj is going to be introduced at some point, but in order for her to properly grow as a character like marc webb wants she'll have to be introduced in the second movie, and grow in the third.in the third movie peter will begin to fall in love with mary jane and what not (no clue who the villian would be in this one).

This sounds like the right way to go to me, and the most probable scenario. I hope they handle Gwen's death (assuming they go that route) with as much heart-breaking gravity it deserves. It could be truly poetic in the hands of Webb, Garfield and Stone.

Good eye, now that I think about it, you're right. Oh and I don't think Casino Royale was an underdog..maybe on the internet yeah but in real life? Psh..I went to see that movie in Manhattan on a Friday evening right after this job interview I had and it was PACKED. Matter of fact, I saw the movie four times in theaters and it was packed each time. The internet may have been pissed because EON let Pierce go and rebooted blah blah but audiences did NOT CARE. They saw "James Bond" "007" and it looked good so they were sold. Speaking of simple as that, I saw a little kid at Walmart today wearing a spider man hat, spider man glasses and a jacket, talking to his dad about the new movie. It was cute, made me think of me when I was a kid

I really dug how marc Webb handled heartbreak in 500 days of summer. Summer was his first love then autumn came and was just drop dead gorgeous. That was so a peter parker moment. Hopefully I'm right in thinking these installments are in the right hands.

I still don't know WTF has happened here. I mean, IF this guy is telling the truth haven't we spoiled the film?

:(

I'm not even gonna look. I've seen enough.

Hey ASMS, what is your opinion on the pacing/time?

The movie KIND OF feels long, but each half is different. The first half is the creation of SPider-Man, and his "origin". The second half is really the Lizard show, with a lot of Peter's mystery and Gwen romance. Never really a dull moment.

Sounds good. tbh I would rather have the movie feel kinda long than kinda short.

Lets just get this one out of the way...

Does Peter's dad have any hand in Peter becoming Spidey?

That is not really revealed in the film. There is a lot of open-ended mystery, as it was left intentionally for the sequal. It can be assumed he does.

The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror episode where the advertisements came to life: "Just don't look, just don't look" :woot:

What the hell people....can't wait to watch the film itself and rather hear spoilers, which could most likely be fake?
