How is that funny? That's...

Horrible news. :csad:

Yeah, if it's even true. I don't trust anyone about this whole thing. All I know is that Sony is stupid if they wait until next year, and just plain DERP if they put a trailer with Ghost Rider (a movie that no one will see).

Nooo!! How could Sony blow an opportunity like that? TDKR is getting lots of coverage and hype right now and you'd think they'd want to get in on some of that, especially after just launching the website and a new poster...

I'm going to side with RIM's hunches and what Bobby told us earlier.

Mostly because if I accept that we might not be seeing this trailer today, I might emotionally breakdown. >.>

They only did that so we wouldn't ***** about getting a trailer, and you can see how that worked out.

I'm just the messenger! My brother splices on the trailers to the film reels and he confirmed to me that Spidey was with Tin Tin. He's going to pre-screen it tonight and I'm extremely jealous because I can't get in. Also I have a wedding to go to so.... dang.

Expect his description up sometime later.

Oh yes. Yes indeed.

So it's either your brother, or SuperheroHype...... I'm hoping your brother isn't pulling your leg, but things are starting to look dim.

We thought we'd be getting a trailer even more thanks to that, lol.

Exactly. Goes to show how terrible Sony is at marketing. I figured they would've released a trailer BEFORE Warner Bros. released their TDKR trailer. Warner Bros. have given us a trailer, a prologue, a poster, the viral marketing started, etc. Sony has given us a website with a couple of pictures and some cool music, and a poster.

dang the fact that SuperHeroHype themselves came in to tell us that news sucks. Yeah Yeah 12 days away, that's 12 days too damn long for me lol

I guess by the end of the week we'll know for sure.

Well, here's where I start to sound sketchy, but I promise I'm telling the truth:

He's not going to be at the pre-screening tonight, instead he's coming with me to this wedding I have to go to. All I know is that he assured me up and down that ASM was going to be attached to Tin Tin. Whether or not that changes in the next 24 hours still remains a mystery I guess.

Anyone's guess is as good as mine at this point.

WHY!?!?!?!? Make him go to the pre-screening!

But is he talking about a new trailer or the teaser trailer?

I might be able to get him back in time. I'll see what I can do.

Here's what he told me. When they get a new film reel in, it comes with a trailer pack detailing what they are and ASM was included with the Tin Tin pack. What he's telling me now is that since Tin Tin is rated PG, his particular theater won't be allowed to show ASM, a PG-13 rated movie, with it. This isn't true for all theaters, just his. He says that depending on who the projectionist is you could get any number of different trailers with your movie.

So basically what he's saying is that ASM, at his theater, won't screen with Tin Tin commercially. However in a pre-screening they can do whatever they want, they'd just have to take the trailer off when they show it to the public so they're following the rules. I'll try and get him back early so we can at least get a description. I won't be able to see it.

So the TASM trailer WON'T screen with Tintin at any theater including your brother? Also, if that's the case, why'd they ship the TASM trailer with Tintin if they wouldn't screen it with Tintin?

This saddens me :(, I'm gonna go ahead and call it being attached with Ghost Rider.

That's what I was saying. His particular theater isn't allowed to show a PG-13 or R rated trailer with a PG movie, but that's not true for every theater. Trailers are shipped in advance and attached to the movies that they're screened with later. But these pre-screening audiences can get a pretty good heads up from time to time, which is why I'm gonna try and get him back here in time to see it.

It's all about distribution. The distributors want to make sure the cinemas have the trailer in advance so they're ready to screen it when the time comes.

Now I'm gonna be incognito for the next few hours so I'll try and get back to you guys as soon as I can. Here's hoping.
