Both the Hobbit teaser and the TDKR trailer came out this week. They're probably afraid that no one is going to care about their movie.

I completely agree with you, but remember that Sony fails at marketing. It could be anything, really. Although I highly doubt it's due to unfinished CGI. They've had plenty of time to finish that up, at least enough to show a quick shot of the Lizard at the end.

TDKR, The Hobbit, and Prometheus all in about a week is pretty huge for trailer reveals.

But they've been revealed already. Sony needs to steal the thunder instead of hiding indoors from the rain.
