I love how the shooters look like modified watches, very homemade looking, love them!!! I love the pic with Emma and Andrew in each others' arms, they look like they have great chemistry.up: I love the suit, I just wish the belt went all the way around to the front, other than that, it's pretty awesome, I can't wait to see the trailer!!!

Damn!

The suit looks amazing now. I had some complaints, but now I need to voice my opinion and say this suit looks incredible. Not as comic-adapted as Raimi's suit, but they threw away the stupid raised webbing and stuck with a webbing pattern that's stitched to the suit(it seems) and I appreciate it

The ONLY complaint is the full-rounded "belt" with the suit...now there's just that red pointing at his junk, lol.

Everything else though, I like.

This whole picture looks a lot cooler then that of Raimis films. Maybe it shows to be anything but!? But it LOOKS like it. The style, the cast, the practical stuff. Seems much cooler and way edgier... I'd still like to add that I love the first and second spidey movie! That without which, they wouldn't have known which direction to go for to make this new franchise both look and feel different, like this new movie looks to be.

In short, without the Raimi movies, there would be NO Webb movie.. So thank you Sam!

If Spider-Man 3 wasn't blasted, there wouldn't be a Webb movie, which is 50/50 I suppose...if you wanted a reboot from S-M 3 then so be it, but if Raimi was given the film that HE wanted, Raimi would probably be working on the fifth film right about now.

I still have my homemade webshooter inspired by the first movie

The production crew toyed with webshooters before going the organic route. They even had a screensaver on the official website.

I'd be could very well be a school. I remember hearing about the Lizard attacking it during the shooting. I'd be great if Peter just sprung to action in the middle of school.

And look closely at those webshooter pictures. The outer parts of it looks like Peter cut out the center of a watch and used the outer part of them.

Raimi had Peter crawl up that building with sneakers as well.

I don't mind the silver lining at all, imo, because the entire suit looks more edgy and looks more like a teenager, albeit scientist, would create. The webshooters looks like watches and the boots look like actual boots with just the suit wrapped around it. It's not as tight and cohesive as Raimi's suit and looks like a 16, 17 year old made it.

Well that's pretty much it...Raimi wanted Vulture and Sandman, and if we were given only those, there wouldn't be a badly-handled symbiote story, no emo Peter and no dancing which would've made for a great movie, imo. Now, Spider-Man 4 could have had Venom and who knows if Raimi would have kept all of those ignorant and childish antics that he had the symbiote do towards Peter, but S-M 4 would've been released last year, MAYBE, and Spider-Man 5 could have been in production.
