So you think they wouldn't have it at E3 based on what you're telling me? If there were noticeable bugs in the game, couldn't they issue a software patch update??

Yea, if for whatever reason Activsion wasn't comfortable having the game playable on the floor, then they just wouldn't bring it. If bugs were present they couldn't be ironed out before the games release, it just wouldn't be enough time. But thats all like worst case scenario. Im assuming the game will be playable at E3, but as iv said, its Activision, who knows with them?

Only time will tell I suppose. E3 is such a huge deal though so I would think they would want that type of forum to display the game and show it off. There seems to be a great deal of confidence coming from Beenox about their handling of this game. It could very well come out to be one of the more epic Spidey games and if so, they'd be like the proud new owner of a sports car in the neighborhood...driving it all over town and washing it in the driveway so everyone can see it. Then again, you're right about Activision...they're a weird bunch.

On a side note, It might have been discussed already, but it would be nice if a developer would let the player change into the superhero. You never really see the change from normal civilian to superhero implemented in any of the games, I feel like i'm the only one that would enjoy it. I'm not asking to create specific gameplay for the alter ego, but I think the option to change into the superhero would give the player a more authentic feel of being him.
I would prefer alternate costumes, Peter Parker is one of them, but could be seen by thugs as an average joe in it instead of seeing the suit

The problem with that is, what does it add to the gameplay? Does it really make you feel more like Spider-Man if all you're doing is swapping an outfit?

Id like to see a section of the game that has you as Peter Parker and then some kind of out break happens and you need to use stealth to sneak out of the area and get to someplace for you to change. I dont think they need a mechanic where you just switch from street clothes to your Spidey suit unless theres a reason behind it.

This actually does not sound like a bad idea.. It wouldn't change my gaming experience. To be honest I think I'll have more fun just swinging around NYC and jumping from rooftop to rooftop lol.

It sounds more or less like the Bruce Wayne section at the beginning of Arkham City.

You know what would be fun, but in an entirely stupid way? Taking the camera system from Dead Rising and allowing Spider-Man to take photos. I don't know what the benefit of that could possibly be (maybe giving bonus XP if there's some kind of leveling system) but it is an aspect of Spidey that would be fun to see. After beating a boss, the game could give you a couple of seconds to web them up and snap a photo.

Yea i think using Peter Parker and his job could be a neat way to earn money that could be spent on upgrades for Spider-Man, like increased web cartage capacity or something.

Excellent news! Direct from the Hero HQ website...a new trailer with "epic footage" will be released today!! Stay tuned. I'll post it here unless someone else posts it before me :woot:

Damnit, you beat me to it lol! :argh::oldrazz::D:up:

A Shocker trailer would make me happier than normal.

I doubt we'll get a villain reveal this soon. Maybe it will be a trailer with more focus on free-roam or combat.

Gotta say, looks pretty good. Certain parts look really dated, (cars, guns, etc) but Spidey moves so freaking excellent!

He....was able....to web....things in the enviroment and.......use them to his advantage........EXCELLENT, this game is really shaping up to be great, his moves are perfect

Holy crap, now that is how you make Spider-Man in a game. His moves look like they flow so smoothly and his webswinging looks amazing.

The trailer still isn't up on the Hero HQ page. It looks great. The combat still looks sick as hell. The part where Spidey is mid-air slinging that dumpster with his web is a move that you could use in EoT. It looks better now though. Beenox seems to have taken a number of ideas from both SD and EoT and improved them.

I am impressed by the web swinging. It looks so fluid and Spidey moves with the agile grace he should. I also like the bits where it shows the Web Rush in action. He sure does move fast during those sequences. Running across the top of the bus looked cool. The graphics look better and better with each trailer.
