Iv played the 3Ds demo like 8 times already.

I'm so ready for the console game

I wish they would have done a vita version, but I guess I'll have to settle for the android one for now. I don't want to spoil the movie so when I pick up my PS3 version I plan to skip the opening of the game, or close my eyes and ears lol until gameplay starts and just master the swinging and webrush during that week lol.up:

I hear ya. I haven't played the demo, mostly cause I don't own a 3DS, and I already am crazy about wanting to play ASM. I can only imagine how much more intense it must be after playing that demo. BTW, Pat, what's the other 3DS game you own?

Just a little over a week Webs, the wait is killing me lol, I even played my copy of Spidey 2 to calm me down a bit, that didn't help at all lol.

I just saw an E3 interview about this and didnt realize this wasnt based on the movie but takes place after it. Thats a great decision and thank god. The worst parts of SM2 for me was the movie based missions. Anyways, really this simply looks amazing. I still need to play Edge of Time though

Have they said this game will have multiple costumes like Beenox's past games? I ask bc past Spidey games have but the movie games barely did

Yes there will be extra suits, about a dozen or so.

If you liked the videos of the console versions, there isn't a reason not to like the 3DS version. Its damn near the same thing, just with uglier visuals.

Noticed it being the main game
I was a bit let down by the number of hits each thug needs, but it's better I guess to be a bit let down before playing the game than being let down after the purchase

I still need to play Edge of Time though

Most will say you're not missing much/anything

They will, Dee even confirmed costumes never used in video games before

You could still save it to play it after the movie game, if you're lucky and don't have any expectation to what it might play like it could be a decent play still

Playing an amazing game and going to its less superior, much criticized predessor, often ruins a game for me. I like to work my way up. I wont be getting this game soon anyway, at leas not until after I see the movie and the price has dropped. Maybe some time this fall

You might find the experience already damaged since you played SD first with it's bigger variety of designs
IMO in gameplay EoT is a bit better

I really am impressed with a lot of the animations in the 3ds version so I can not wait to see the console version on my tv.

I completely understand the feeling. I cannot play any games right now...nothing is filling the void of wanting to play ASM. The wait always seems the most difficult when you're so close.

I know, I've been playing Dead to Rights: Retribution, that should really tell you something. I swear when TASM comes out, i'm gonna immediately unlock achievements for combat, i cant stop watching the videos

I agree. EoT was very fun and went above my expectations for a game that had such a short development cycle. Unfortunately, EoT isn't worth more than one playthrough. I only played it about three times so I could unlock all the suits and earn a platinum trophy. Funny thing is...I traded in my copy of EoT towards ASM but I still have my copy of SD.

lol. We should form a therapy group until the game comes out. I seriously have not even tried playing a game in about a week and a half. I've already told my wife that the day the game releases...I am not to be bothered, lol. I'm probably gonna play for about ten hours straight and try and unlock as much as I can, especially with the combat.

I was kinda hoping that they would do a midnight release but I doubt it. That's usually reserved for the big games like Madden, CoD, Arkham.
