Well that's not true.
If you wanna complain, go for it. Over and over and over again. Til you're blue in the face. Have a great time.
If you expect your complaining to CHANGE anything, complain to the right people, and do it the right way. Write letters to Marvel. Stand outside their Corporate offices with picket signs. Maybe then you'll be taken seriously.
Coming on here day after day and repeating yourselves on why BND sucks and Spidey is dead will change nothing.
You think Joe Q is reading this? You think he's reading this and scratching his head and saying, "Hmmm. Maybe random_havok and farmernudie are right. What have I done?"
You think Dan Slott is going, "Hey Quesada, have you seen the boards of Super Hero Hype? There's like, 5 people who think you really ****ed up. You better fix this mess."
I know you guys are pissed but this is what we got. You're gonna have to deal with it.
Like Bob Marley said, "Every little thing, is gonna be alright."
Everything you said was unAmerican. Commy.
The ironic thing is Spider-Jay was being attacked a few months ago for his capitalistic activities (ticket-broker). He and I spent a week or two during the Stanley Cup Run of the World Champion Pittsburgh Penguinsdefending our fine market system.
Did you really just call me a Communist? unAmerican? I'm saying take your fight to the right people. Don't sit here crying like a baby about it, DO SOMETHING!!! Let MARVEL know how you feel. Again, send letters (real letters, not emails or messages on chat boards) or go protest with picket signs. That's about as American as you can get.
When your Mommy sends you to your room for being bad and you complain over and over to your teddy bears about it, what happens? Absolutely nothing. You're still sitting in your room, aren't you?
But if you talk to HER about how you feel, you might get results.
Complain all you want. I'm not about to take away your American right to complain. But if you really want change, you won't get it here.
Get off your ass and do something about it. That's how you change things.
Peace.

It's more like 50%.
Dacman has his views and he's been pretty eloquent about them...but he needs to stop thinking he speaks for "most fans" or "all the fans" when this thread is clearly evidence that is NOT the case
You ever been to Russia?
you know what....I have yet to see a good conversation about tickets, pricing, and scalping here on the Hype...which thread was that in??
it might have been at 50 right around that time when the change happened, but I think its decreased since as some have gone back to the book (2 friends of mine just recently) Id put it at about 30 - 35 percent
Nobody cares when Stark sleeps around, or when Shulkie or Ms. Marvel sleep around, but Peter does it, and it's hell on Earth.![]()
Well I'm willing to beat your two friends didn't push the numbers all the way to a 35% increase.
And according to this it's actually declined a little the past few years but is mostly stable.

OK. First off I was kidding. I'm pretty sure you're not really a communist. Right?
Second, I have written Marvel. Why would you assume I haven't? And go all the way out to New York to protest? I have a family to provide for. I have a life. But you better believe I write them.
Third, I also take the time to tell anyone I meet on the internet, who at least claims to work for Marvel, how I feel as well. Even more so for this guy claiming to be Slott seeing as he is currently part of the team killing Spider-Man.
And fourth, I'm crying like a baby? Really? That sounds like something a commy would say. You ever been to Russia?
That was meactually a poster here who went to the #600 meet and greet met Mr. Slott and they had a conversation about this thread, so I would gather it is him...
what do you expect, Dacman? for a writer (under contract) to Marvel to stand on his desk, cross his arms, and say "no, Im not writing a single Spider-Man anymore"...because you know what will happen...Marvel will just find someone else to do it
