just back from this: i can see why some people thought this would feel packed as there's a lot going on in parts but overall this is for the first time a real Spider-Man movie. quips fun action heart emotion.

glad you enjoyed it  what would you rate it?

So does the whiplash kill Gwen or does she hit her head on the wall or something?

I'd give it a solid 8.5 out of 10. there are things that are visually very well done, there's a few contrived moments. the whole parents angle was done quite well.

It's hard to say, the web hits her stomach, and stretches then Gwen's head snaps back hits the floor then jolts forwards, so my feeling is the whiplash is the main contributory factor, and you clearly see signs of a neck break as Peter is cradling Gwen

What rating do you give ASM?

What's your favorite scene from ASM2?

The 'Rhino' scene wasn't replaced with an X-men trailer. There simply used to be a short sequence for the end credits with
Norman's frozen head in a container
but that's gone.

In SOME cinemas, a short trailer for Days of Future Past was put in there. In my local cinema however, as well as many others, no scene/trailer features in the after-credits.

So was the rhino scene in the movie? Because that would be an awesome ending sequence along with Gwen's speech

Saw it a few hours ago, I'd give it about an 8/10. Visually was fantastic though they did over the 3d. Some things in the big fight bugged me too as they were clearly only there to add extra tension and shouldn't have been issues at all.
Overall I'd say it was just a good as the first one.

I enjoyed ASM despite it's faults, This however is a lot better than ASM

The Time Square scene was very good, i thought the whole encounter was over a bit quick, but I'd say the whole Power Plant Clock Tower scenes were superb they're the ones that are the freshest in my mind right now.

Spidey's reply to Electro when he exclaims that people will think of him as a god is classic "A god Called Sparkles?"

Only question I have is how is his spider-sense portrayed? Because, for me, the first film didn't really acknowledge it.

And she was conscious all the time? Damn.... :(

It's portrayed in a similar way to Spider-Man 1 (Raimi's) with time slowing down and a camera fly by of all the surrounding/dangers. and to a lesser degree when Peter is crossing a busy road to meet with Gwen.

There's a video from the MTV that shows Spider-Man with his spider-sense. I haven't seen it, but it appears to be like in Spider-Man from 2002 (slow-mo world with Spidey in the middle who can see everything that happens around him)

I would respect his opinions a lot more if he didn't act like an immature brat. The dude on the video above on the thread? He hasn't seem the film either, because he didn't quote any scenes. :whatever:

Really, go outside.

The Rhino scene is at the end, Peter watches Gwen's speech on his laptop beforehand then turns up to face Rhino.

So I just got back from the movie... Movie was great in some places but like many other people had said, a little overcrowded in other parts. There were also some things that really didn't feel necesary imo.
The first half of the movie was the main problem for me. This is the part that felt a little bit rushed and overcrowded. There's a lot happening but there's just no time to let it all sink in, to dijest it if you understand. The second half was really great but the main problem was the goblin fight. I won't go into to much spoilers but yeah. Overall a good movie and this is Spidey like we always wanted too see in terms of quips, movement, etc. but just not yet the best one we have gotten so far.
