I really want the two movies to be more or less about the Infinity Stones.
I was so sure that Avengers 4 was going to be Infinity War, not Part 3. No idea what would Part 4 be called now ...
But yeah, I also start getting confused with all the talk about the movies. Part 3 will be the ending of the old MCU, and 4 will be the new beginning?
Don't know.

We will wait and see.

Still, they're filming the 2 movies back to back. That's my relief of them being one bigger story.

Yes that is at least one major thing connecting the 2 films that would suggest the 2 films aren't wildly different.

I don't think it should - not drastically at least. Evans had indicated a while back that filming Avengers 3 & 4 back to back was going to be about a 9 month shoot - so if they start filming in November as planned (and granted, it depends on exactly when in November they start filming) - then they could finish up around August of next year. Most of the solo films (on average) begin filming roughly 12-13 months out from their U.S. release date - though there have been a few exceptions (the first Ant-Man, for example, was more like 11 months before release date). So for A&W, that would normally put it starting in June/July next year but if they really needed to they could push the filming start a bit to accommodate any remaining requirements on the Avengers films - but really there's 7 months(ish) of filming on Avengers before even hitting the 'usual' start point for Ant-Man, I'd be surprised if they weren't able to accommodate the cast members that are part of both within that time frame.

The bigger overlap is going to be with Black Panther, what with them confirming that filming on that would begin in January/February (while filming of Avengers began only 2-3 months prior). I imagine they're working the schedules out in such a way that those that are needed for Avengers get their filming done either early (this fall) or else get it done after filming on BP wraps (the solo films tend to average about 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 months of principal photography).

Just my take on the situation... I could always end up being wrong

I don't think they would need to be there all that long anyway. There's only so much focus they can give to those 2 in the middle of an Infinity War lol. Will be great to see them together in any case in both films.

BP's solo movie to my knowledge is important leading into IW. Boseman's going to be a busy guy as the 2 IW films are not being filmed back to back per se but simultaneously. So, they could be filming IW on a Monday and film scenes for IW2 on the Tuesday. I suspect Boseman will film his scenes prior to and after his solo as he's already well into his training with Marrese Crump and scheduling wise makes sense.

Nope. It was dying offscreen (with Hawkeye and the Wasp, who are also likely in the movie).

Feige has said Black Panther is important to the events of Infinity War though. Me thinks Wakanda will play some part in fighting Thanos' forces.

As with Civil War I imagine many scenes will be handled by using stand-ins and then CGI'ing the real actors later. Black Panther and Ant-Man are actually very easy to fake shemp because they both have costumes that cover them from head to toe.

The idea of two teams made me think about something. In both previous Avengers movies all members had individual scenes with the antagonists. Only exception that comes to mind is Clint & Ultron. Everybody else had dialogue with Loki and Ultron.

Roster is so big for the next two movies, that's probably not going to happen this time, lol. Who do you think should have talking scenes with the mad titan? I'm thinking:

Cap (That classic scene has to be recreated.)
Tony (He started the franchise)
Thor
Hulk (And I do mean Hulk.)
Starlord
Gamora (Obvious personal ties.)
Drax
Dr. Strange (They can have their own personal confrontation on a different level.)
Cap Marvel
Scarlet Witch
Vision (Yeah, Thanos will probably rip the stone from his head. And give a menacing monologue doing it.)

I'd love that. There would need to be a real threat on Earth too but one that gives everyone something to do. And then only the uber powerful guys and ones with personal stakes with Thanos go into space.

They said Part 1 would focus on a smaller and more manageable group of heroes and then Part 2 would be every one.

There are a lot of other reasons why the story is bull though. Not the least of which is it coming from 4Chan.
