The one thing I prefer in the previous Avengers posters is that they have the characters in more dynamic poses. In this one most characters are standing around.

The movie's not out till May, don't expect a new trailer for a while.

The trailer is out there, generating excitement, all the more so because it's forbidden fruit. It's like crack for CBM fans.

Dude, Wakanda has a highly sophisticated, advanced techological military force, more than capable of handling its own, without Cap & his team. A time or situation could have easily presented itself for Cap & Co. to covertly maneuver into different kind of mission.

In this case they would have had no need to have Cap and Co there in the first place. So all my points still stand.

The Russos said that 15 people is only a third of the whole cast. So the full cast is not 65, it's 45 characters.

In this case Cap wouldn't have been shown fighting in the battle. But we saw that in the footage. He's not gonna suddenly abandon them there.
Once again, you put too much trust in the single poster. Cap, Falcon, BW, Wanda and Vision are together in the beginning, hence this group.

EVERYONE values stakes. If you don't know that then you've been misinterpreting posts. Having deaths that later get reversed actually removes stakes. You need stakes for good drama, and good writing (not necessarily deaths) for stakes.

"My brother [Anthony Russo] and I*believe in stakes," he told MTV News correspondent Josh Horowitz. "I believe that everything has to have an end at some point in order for it to have value. The audience should be prepared."

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige echoed Russo's sentiment, telling MTV News that Infinity War, and its untitled follow-up, will be an emotional experience. As the Marvel Cinematic Universe inches closer to Phase 4, and as the actors themselves near the end of their contracts (hey, Chris Evans), it makes sense that the MCU would shake up its superhero roster. After all, it happens in the comics all the time.

"It'll be emotional for a lot of different reasons," Feige said following Marvel's star-studded presentation in Hall H.

Wow! That's a bold statement & very interesting. Kinda plays into a little theory I shared here about, "What If" Thanos actually win & the next phases (4 & possibly 5) of films is the surviving heroes having to deal with that situation, preparing for a rebellion & overthrow...take back the planet. Be interesting if that could happen.

Like to see how they deal with Loss all around....they certainly can toss the Accords out the window.

Could also buy time for Disney/Marvel to cut some kind of deal to get the FF back in the Marvel family.

Yeah...not putting trust in anything dude...that's you thinking I am. I'm just making an observation of the poster, couple with the trailer, & forming my opinion.

What you saw could very well been Cap & Co. having to fight their way through, to their secret covert mission...like Cap & Bucky had to fight their way to the plane in Civil War. You don't know with any certainty, what that situation was.

I can say you're putting a lot of trust in a teaser trailer, that is widely known that trailers are cut & edited out of sequence & to manipulate, to prevent giving away the plot or any surprises.

I'm just saying.....

EVERYONE values stakes.

Having seen the rest of the MCU, this simply is NOT true. So far, we always know these heroes have to be fine to be in the next film.

Now we're getting into a situation where these two films are meant to be "conclusive"... that suggests actual stakes, not just "oh maybe Spider-Man will get a bruise."
