I'm still not sure they can do a great job on Hulk himself with a tv budget.

They're using the CGI model from The Avengers for the TV series. As in, they are literally using the model ILM/WETA designed to be used in the TV show.

Still doesn't mean you can get all the same quality visuals on a TV budget.

No, but you can get a ****load more quality time with Hulkster in a TV show, and you don't have to wait every 3-4 years to see the next episode.

I dunno if there's Hulk, what about his fights and what kind of enemies will it be? Will there be other super-powered threats and weapons?

There's been rumors about it, I assume since there will be no movies while the shows on the air I'd hope that it's canon in the MCU.

I agree, and no matter what a TV show that has a CGI creature in every episode is bound to get expensive. Hopefully they can pull it off, but I'm guess that they'll cast a new actor as Banner, which makes it 5th straight new Banner in five TV/movies based on Hulk.

I guess counting the old TV show, the three live action movies, and now the new TV show.

I was always impressed by what that TV show pulled off without high budget effects or Supervillains .
They might be LESS Successful sticking to the comics and using CGI.

More than likely the main antagonist will be like Ross chasing him every week and occasionally teaming up in a reluctant manner to fight something worse.

Yeah, there are/will be a total of five actors playing Banner:

Original Hulk series: Bill Bixby
Ang Lee's Hulk: Eric Bana
TIH: Edward Norton
The Avengers: Mark Raffalo
New Hulk series: ??? (not Raffalo)

My guess is it will be a blend of routine villains (the usual assortment of gangsters and thugs, and large doses of run-ins with the military) and *occasionally* a CGI supervillain from the pages of the comic books. Plus, as the Bixby series showed, not every Hulk story has to involve a fistfight; there's plenty of drama to be had in burning buildings, plane crashes, natural disasters, etc.

I'm hoping to see Samuel Sterns return, and to see The Leader actually rise and become a recurring villain.

The Hulk in the show will be a mix of CG, prosthetics and puppetry. So, obviously, they are tweaking some things for the TV format.

I'd love to see the Leader as well, cherokeeasm. Ever since the end of TIH, I've been wanting to see him.

A puppet Hulk? Wut???

It'd be interesting to see if they would have Guest Heroes like Smallville had.

Hey, I have a great idea. How about like in the old days we all wait for the movie to come out in the theaters to find out what the alien menace will be?

Hey, I have a great idea. Let's all join a superhero forum and then not talk about upcoming movies?
