NICE Thanks Rim!! Have something to read at home! see ya all later

Very much so lol

I also think at the end of the trailer, when we see IM flew out of the water, he probably got there after a skirmish with Foom (if the rumor turns out to be right), and we then saw him jet straight back into the city to continue the fight.

Fin Fang Foom would be pretty boss if you ask me. This film needs to be HUGE! Giant monsters= HUGE!!

This needs to Transformers 3 level but with an actual plot, script, characters worth caring about, and not just complete and utter nonsense and destruction...on second thought don't be like Transformers 3. Just be HUGE!!

I hope the special effects will be akin to District 9 or Battle: Los Angeles, which made the aliens and monsters look very realistic and believable. If they have Foom, I want the audience to actually awe by the imagery of a giant serpent/dragon that is terrorizing the city, and even scared by the sight of the beast. I don't want any snickering around.

Fin Fang Foom? Where does that come from? I thought he was called The Leviathan?

Oh man, I so hoped for Thanos...

I wouldn't worry, already Hulk looked far better than he did in the entirety of TIH.

Must admit I'm not too happy about this.

If it is Foom, it won't be the only villain, since Loki is already known and we got pictures of stuntmen in mocap suits. I think a huge, destructive mythical beast that The Avengers have to take down sound very exciting, and it is something that Watchmen could have done (if they didn't deviate from the graphic novel).

Sounds like it could be pretty sweet. It may not end up being an actual creature from the comics that has a name.

The thing I don't like is the fact we'll be looking at something enormous and cg. Huge organic creatures usually look so obviously fake. I was so happy with the Hulk and I'm hoping the mocap dudes look that good. But a giant creature? I've yet to see something that size convincing.

The other thing I'm weary of is that its a creation made solely for this movie when we have a very big library of destructive creatures to choose from.

Possible Fin Fang Foom? HELL YEAH! I thought they'd save him until Mandarin showed up, unless it's one of those Thor monsters you guys were talking about.

Either way, giant fight scene with a huge monster = AWESOME!

mangog was more of a diversion so thanos could steal an artifact from odin. though this all took place on asgard, so not sure if they would adapt this story to fit with the avengers. there seems to be too many loose ends if we never see odin or the other asgardians. like how did thanos steal the infinity guantlet, if in fact thanos is making an appearance. this is of course all specualtion, we don't know if any of this stuff i mentioned is in the story. im just going way out there. i do like the idea of fafnir though. also it could just be a conjured creature loki creates that resembles something fans would recognize, but to the GA would just be a huge monster.

Is Jormungand in the Thor comics?
it is also known as the midgard serpent mentioned by some posters previously.

i'd be down for any mythological norse creature, they are all cool.

Just when you think this movie couldn't get any better, Fin Fang Foom is possibly in? Hyped!

If it's the Midgard Serpent or Fin Fang Foom, I'd be totally happy.

But if it's Fin Fang Foom, then what about this version?
