Man; I just can't help but feel that when the second trailer is released for this film, that ALL OF US, plus a good amount of the skeptics (who didn't like the look of the film based on the teaser and first trailer) will be won over due to the fact that not only will the trailer be able to show more money shots and large scale CGI scenes, but that it'll likely be edited in a way where we get more of the narrative of the film instead of just being presented as something that's a general notice for the GA.

I certainly hope that what they're going for, I think for trailer 2, narrative will be waaaaay more important than money shots.

Well if past comic book trailers have been of any indication, it's normally the second trailer that garners better responses and attention than the first one does.

I mean, I remember on how a good amount of people weren't impressed with what they saw in the first Thor trailer, but changed their minds about the film once they saw the second trailer.

I'm also thinking that the second trailer won't feature Iron Man/Tony Stark as much and that we'll get a NEW shot of the entire team in their gear since the Hulk shot will have been completed by then most likely for that type of shot to be released.

Could come off as cheesy but it is a comic book movie and that is just one on the reasons why it would look cool. Not necessarily in slo-mo just an awesome visual where one can go, **** Yeah! One thing about marvel studios that puts their films head and shoulders above other CBM's is that they fully embrace their comic book roots where it's appropriate. They don't shy away from the gallantry and the colorful costumes, so I wouldn't at all be surprised if they did just that.
 
Trailer 2 better be one of the biggest trailers ever! Noone who is a potential viewer should be in any doubt about whether they'll be seeing it .

I totally agree! I want a shot like the one from 13 Assassins.

It looks so badass. Avengers is sort of similar to 13 assassins as both have battles against insurmountable odds. I really do hope I get the same chills I got before the final battle of 13 assassins.
 
I haven't seen 13 assassins yet. From the trailer it reminds me of Azumi. I'll have to check it out.

I'm hoping for something similiar to the 'power walk' from the opening credits sequences of Buffy,Angel,Firefly,etc.

In the "ASSEMBLY BEGINS" featurette on the CA:TFA Blu-ray there is a penciled drawing of the entire team with CAP central, IM floating to his right, HULK, HE, and THOR in the foreground, and BW with a gun to his left.

It's an awesome shot and would look excellent as a group live action shot.

I'm not going to lie, the Avengers trailer was a good trailer and all but it didn't really blow me away.

I liked the first trailers for Iron Man, THOR, and CA:TFA better than the trailer for this film, this one just felt like it was a little rushed imo.
 
Weren't we supposed to get something in the past few days?
 
I have the DVD editions of IM & TIH, are the extras on the blu rays of those good enough to justify buying them as well?

In the most recent edition of Total Film SJ was describing a photo-shoot they were doing together and the description is exactly the same as what you posted.
