I'm not going to lie, the Avengers trailer was a good trailer and all but it didn't really blow me away.

I liked the first trailers for Iron Man, THOR, and CA:TFA better than the trailer for this film, this one just felt like it was a little rushed imo.

I thought the trailer was great, but I had the feeling that they held something back because of their refusal to reveal the army that Loki mentioned in the D23 footage. Also, they aren't finished with Hulk's effects that imo Hulk will be the one who will really WOW the audience.

I think the first Avengers trailers was all it needed to be. This wasn't the trailer selling the story. It was the one that shows us that we get all of them in the same film, and not just saying it will happen at some point. So, I think it did what it needed to do.

It was ok. It was basically a money shot reel, but then, they can't show too many money shots like Loki's army and his partner(s) (if he has any). It's a catch 22 situation.

Completely agree with this. Those are my thoughts on the first trailer.

So when can we expect a second trailer INCLUDING a fully hulked-out Hulk?

My biggest concern about the film is how exactly they're gonna handle juggling all of these characters and the loose ends left from their own movies. For instance, Tony stark is apparently only a consultant, how will he make the transition to full fledged avenger? How is Cap dealing with being thrown into the 21st century after being asleep for 70 years? How is Thor back from Asgard? Since Natalie Portman isn't in this film, how will the romance angle be handled? How much of Asgard will we/won't we see/hear about?

^^ In a typical Marvel movies way, Tony Stark in invited by Nick Fury to provide his technical expertise as they are dealing with hi tech aliens, so Stark helps them out in some solo mission by going after some hidden key command and control center.

Cap at first treats the fellow members of Avengers as solders but he soon realizes that they are not willing to do what he says without some sound reason, he decides to lead by example and impresses other members.

Fury locks up Loki (but in reality Loki allows SHIELD agents to take him to a secure secret location cause he wants the cosmic cube) Fury steals Loki's staff and somehow uses it to bring Thor on Earth.

Portman just talks Thor on an iPhone.

See, easy. :oldrazz:

There definitely are a lot of loose ends from the solo movies. My main concern is that they just flat out ignore some of these. I hope they touch on and do a good job of addressing each.

Joss is a good writer and it seems that he cares about the characters. I'm sure he'll touch on each one

Will there be some reference to the fact that Hawkeye almost killed Thor?

I thought the D23 Expo footage revealed that Thor is present with the Avengers on the Hellcarrier during the time that Loki is in SHIELD's custody.

I'd love to see the riveting scene where Fury has to read the manual on operating Loki's staff to get it to do that.

I was at d23... try as I could.. there was NO WAY in hell anyone could sneak pictures or videos... It felt like going into lockdown.
To this DAY I swear Disney is pure evil.

I would like to know how they captured Loki in the first place being that he was last scene controlling Erik Selvig.

^ Yeah that's what I was thinking. I doubt a god couldn't handle himself against SHIELD
