hmm, interesting.
So Thanos may have more than just a cameo in this movie, if that story is true.

Hopefully it sets him up for a sequel and hopefully they get EVERYONE back, including RDJ and Ruffalo. Hulk vs Thanos would get me more excited than a Hulk/Thor and Hulk/Iron Man(Hulkbuster) fight.

Ahhh! Those bobbleheads are so freakin' cute. My birthday is in May and I want them! (I'm already getting an Avengers movie, but I'm greedy. :woot:)

Yeah but STILL no leaked script of ANY kind that eludes to Thanos.
Loki with the Cosmic cube be a pretty dangerous thing. HE knows how it works, moreso than the Skull did.

It's definitely fake. And I'd be incredibly disappointed if there's any dialogue as incredibly cheesy as that was, and that close together.

I think we have more people viewing than the last month's numbers all together haha.

Hey guys, I wrote the article and I'm the one who got the email. It was deleted because most people thought it was fake, lol. I'm a newbie to SHH! and I look forward to discussing with all the geeks here :)

On the matter, I want the details to be true but because the dialogue is cringe worthy I know it's not -_-

Is this a new fake rumour or are we still discussing NolanLover's fake rumours? Personally I thought his rumour was fake since I heard the Red Skull part. Even if you look past that someone would likely have heard/seen/said something about Hugo Weaving being involved. I'm pretty sure he said something just after Cap released that left the impression that reprising his role as Red Skull wasn't exactly the top of his list because he didn't think there was much to the role (or along those lines).

Welcome to the boards. More is always appreciated.

I'm more than willing to keep it all a surprise, but given my lack of Avengers knowledge I still might not get why the other villains are making fanboys/girls foam at the mouth.

The Avengers have villians that are MUCH more dangerous than Loki, overall he's more of a Thor villian than Avengers villian.

Actually Thor is the Avengers who goes one on one with Thanos the most, but I'd like for Thanos to be too big of a threat for any "one" Avenger to fight.

Cheers :yay: We're talking about an email with a scene description and some spoilers for Avengers I got and I posted it on CBM but it got deleted because the editor thought it was pure ****. Here's the email in full for the people that didn't get to take a look.

Hello there MovieMaster, I work in the sound department for Marvel Studios/Disney and have seen some footage from The Avengers. I noticed that you post on here and you were the first regular poster I saw to email it to. The email consists of a few details that I've spotted and a scene description. The scene comes first.
Nick Fury and Hawkeye are in the NASA research facility reported to be in scenes earlier this year. Hawkeye bounds up to him and tries to get his attention.

Hawkeye- "Sir, you might want to take a look at this." He shows him some papers and Nick Fury continues walking.

Nick Fury: "I don't have time at the moment, there's been a huge spike in our radar. This whole facility is finally paying off."

Hawkeye- "Good, that means I don't have to waste your time telling you what you already know." Fury spins around and stares at him blankly.

Nick Fury: "What are you talking about?"

Hawkeye- "The radar is reporting a massive spike in alien activity near Earth. Something's coming Sir."

Nick Fury: "We've known this for quite some time. We just didn't know when."

Hawkeye- "Well what do you want me to do?" The music is very tense at this part. A grin appears on Fury's face.

Nick Fury: "Call them." Hawkeye walks over to the window and produces a keypad. He begins tapping some keys and speaks into it:

Hawkeye: "Defend New York. This is NOT a false alarm. Something's coming. Avengers Assemble."

This part is a new scene. Thor, Iron Man, Cap, Bruce and Black Widow are all in Stark Tower. They're rushing around, suiting up etc. Cap walks towards Thor and Iron Man.

Cap: "You two, defend the outer perimeter. Widow, defend the tower. Bruce, you're coming with me. We're gonna defend the main city."

Thor: "Great. The God of Thunder and the God of Arrogance, defending Earth together. What joy."

Iron Man: "Watch it hammer time. I don't take well to Hammer's." Get the joke?

Thor: "Aren't you witty." Thor dives out the window and flies towards the ocean. Iron Man quickly follows.

Cap: "Looks like he's ahead of the game there, you'll have to get better at this whole team thing."

Iron Man: "Oh yeah Captain *****ebag, what "team experiance" do you have?"

Cap: "Your father built an indestructible shield for me to fight with in the army. I think I have more experiance than you." Cap walks away, and Iron Man looks pissed. His helmet fits together and then he dives out the window after Thor.

Bruce: "Cap, punch me."

Cap: "What are you talking about?"

Bruce: "If aliens are coming, I'm not gonna do much good in this form am I?"

Cap: "I guess not. But I can't bring myself to do-" Bruce walks forward calmly and pushes Cap out of the way. "Hey watch it- NO!" Bruce jumps out the window. This is similar to the scene in The Incredible Hulk when he jumps out of the plane and falls onto the street. They're practically the same, except he's jumping out of a window. The camera follows Bruce as he falls to the ground, and you can see the rage in his face as he is falling. He screams. And smashes into the road. Cars are swerving to avoid the wreckage whilst dirt and parts of the road are flying around them. Cap is looking down from the top of Stark Tower and Widow is next to him.

Black Widow: "Is he okay?" Suddenly, The Hulk leaps up from the wreckage and lands heavily back on the ground.

Cap: "Yeah, he's fine." Cap turns around and runs out of the building, leaving Widow to tackle any alien invaders.

Back in the NASA base, soldiers are running around frantically. They're guarding the main entrances and Fury as a rocket launcher. Hawkeye has reloaded his arrow sack. A scientist in a lab coat runs up to Fury.

Scientist: "Sir, the scanners are saying that there are an abnormal number of alien ships flying towards us."

Nick Fury: "Tell me something I didn't already know."

Scientist: "Look outside and see for yourself." Fury looks annoyed, and walks up to the window. He looks around, as the camera pans out to show that they are in fact outer space. The visuals are amazing. The ship is huge. All the effects were finished so expect it to show up in the next trailer, coming sometime next week.

Nick Fury: "What am I supposed to be looking at?"

Scientist: "The ships are reported to be extremely near ours. Can you see anything?"

Nick Fury: "....No. What are you suggesting is the reason behind this?"

Scientist: "Something's tampering with our feeds, and they've placed images of-" The roof of the spaceship collapses inwards at the end. A huge sphere crashes in. Soldiers are being sucked out of the ship. Hawkeye runs to the controls to the left and quickly presses a few buttons.

Hawkeye: "The ship is secure!" Gravity returns. Scientists and soldiers fall to the ground. They slowly approach the sphere. This is the part seen in the beginning of the trailer. The sphere slowly opens to reveal Loki sitting there, sweatin and grinning. He is carrying the strange axe-like object seen in the trailer.

Loki: "Gullible humans." He then leaps off of the chair and points his staff towards one of the soldiers, killing him.

And that's all I saw. The scene was undeniably epic. The music was awesome. It's completely different in tone than all of the other Marvel Studios movies. It won't have an Oscar-worthy story, but it's probably the most epic CBM of 2012. I only saw that scene, but I know some more details. Spoilers ahead....

-Red Skull has a pretty awesome cameo. He was transported into Space and is the prisoner of the aliens in the movie, the Shi'ar. Loki goes there on his travels, because he has heard tales that The Infinity Gems have been seperated from the Infinity Gauntlet and spread across the galaxy. He has found the Space one and it is the gem spotted on his staff, which is how he transports himself around the universe. Red Skull claims to have information on where the Reality gem is, because Loki's plan is to use it to take over Earth. Skull refuses to tell him, so Loki leaves the Shi'ar to do whatever they want with him. The situation then dawns on him, he makes a deal with the Shi'ar to attack Earth with him. Attack Earth with him, and they can have access to the next Infinity Gem he finds.

-Thanos isn't in the movie. He's in the post-credits sequence, which is him finding the Reality gem. Similar to the Green Lantern after-credits scene, although this one is good and makes sense.

-Loki finds the Power gem on Earth, but realises he cannot part with it. Leading to the Shi'ar's rebellion against him.

-Thor will fight Hulk and Cap, actully Thor hates the whole team. He doesn't fight with Iron Man although they both hate each other.

-The end of the first act consists of Hulk going crazy and fighting the other Avengers.

-The Leviathan is a monster created by the Shi'ar. It's a huge serpent-like/dragon thing. It's like Fin Fang Foom, but not a full dragon. It can't breathe fire. Although it does have wings and everything else a dragon has.

This is all legit. Hope CBM finds this interesting and is enough to make them ejaculate. Happy New Year!

Nice Find! Welcome back. Yeah the only lego type thing I saw so far was at one of the Comic cons. other than that mega bloks has lego sized figures I posted in the Merchendise thread.

Thanks :)

I collect LEGO minifigs, and was looking for news on releases of the Marvel figs, when I stumbled across the aforementioned link.

Good grief. That dialogue could win some Badfic awards. They'd better hone their writing skills with fanfic a bit longer before trying to pass it off as real.

Thor does fight Iron Man in this film, Robert Downey Jr. confirmed it in an interview.

Out of curiousity, I sent him an email saying the following.

-The dialogue is cheesy.

-The Red Skull cameo seems forced and out of place.

-Thor and Iron Man DO fight in the movie.

-The Shi'ar are a **** choice of villain.

He replied with this:

The Red Skull cameo looks pretty cool in the actual movie. There's a montage type thing at the beginning with Loki travelling around, searching for Infinity Gems. Red Skull is his last stop. The reason it's there is because he was so powerful and was a leader in TFA, and he's been reduced to this. That's what makes it so awesome.

The dialogue looks really bad when written down. When spoken it's awesome. Trust me.

The Shi'ar are one of the most dominant species in the Marvel Universe. Most of their encounters are with X-Men but occassionally they've tussled with The Avengers.

The parts I've seen of the movie, they've just had some light fights. I didn't know about all these scoops so they must fight in a scene I haven't seen yet.

Isn't the Shi'ar part of the X-Men universe? I'd expect FOX to own their rights.

Hmm, if he's lying, he's a very good one; I'll say that much. Although the bit about RS being "so powerful"....I don't know about that. Besides being a failed SSS experiment, the only thing that made him powerful was the cube. Of course, considering he was zapped to space, who knows.

Haha wow, still don't believe a word of it.

I fail to see how "Captain *****ebag" and "Watch it Hammertime" can sound awesome in any shape or form. Thank the heavens this is fake...

I'm taking a "wait and see" with everything, but I'd really expect the Shi'ar to be more of an X-Men thing. Yeah, the Avengers have dealt with them, and even had a Shi'ar as a member (Deatchry), but they seem like they'd be so out of place here.

This. It's bad dialogue. Not even RDJ could save it and those involved including RDJ, Joss Whedon etc wouldn't let something that awful anywhere near the script.

I mean it's objectively bad that you don't really need to reason out why the rest of it or the main points are fake. It's worse than a lot of fan fiction that anyone can see it's fake without going to that kind of effort.

Yeah he doesn't really offer up anything to support his claims. He just sort of gives a few variations on "No, really. It's fine. Trust me." There is nothing in his e-mails (from what you've shared... and I doubt there is in its entirety either) that lends any credibility to his case.
