There have some compliments to Joss's script from the cast in a few interviews, saying it's 'funny' etc, but not on the story itself. Either they have to keep hush on plot still, or if it does come to the worse, there just isn't much of a plot to discuss.

Let's just say that said person wasn't really that big into comic book movies, more like just the typical casual movie goer. In fact said person had only seen Iron Man and Iron Man 2.

But after seeing the pre-screening of the Avengers, said person drove to the nearest Blockbuster and rented Thor, Captain America, and Incredible Hulk over that same weekend. Even went as far as renting Ang Lee's 2003 Hulk coz didn't know better, oops.

Thanx again.

I'll take this to mean he enjoyed the movie.

Wow, those "rumors" on the previous couple of pages were some of the worst crap I've ever read. B-movies on the scify channel have better dialogue than that garbage.

Well that's good to know; I too hope that the story itself lives up to the hype in a realistic sense.

Heck, if the story is received as well as X:FC then I'll be happy as no tomorrow.lol

so when next week exactly is the trailer out?

Supposedly next week..but things could always change.

If you like the Avengers movie how many times do you plan on seeing it in theaters? I say at least twice for me. I saw all the Marvel movies twice except for TIH.

Probably 3 or 4 times....I saw THOR 3 times in theaters.

I saw 3 Marvel movies once each this year. I will watch two Marvel movies three times next year. One TAS, two Avengers (One with 3D one without).

I generally watch the movies once in theaters and then again on DVD. I've done this with Iron Man 2 and onward. I have seen most of the Marvel movies only twice with Iron Man as the lone exception. Come May I'll change this and have a massive MCU marathon leading up to the Avengers.

I'll probably see Avengers multiple times in theatres if it's really good.

I saw "Thor" 5 times and "CA" 6 times.lol

So if "The Avengers" is really as great as we all hope, I plan on seeing it at least 4-5 times in Theaters.

I sat down and saw Thor 17 times in a tow n DVD, didnt get a shot to see it in theaters, I wish I had though

I plan on seeing avengers at least every week, there's a reason I've been stocking up on regal and Amc cards haha.

Does anyone know as to whether New Trailer are generally released on a certain day during the week? I'm trying to figure out as to what would be the best possible day next week that the trailer might be released on.

havent been here in a while since there hasnt been too much news lately but i stumbled upon this a second ago. apparantly this has been a major topic of conversation lately and i can see why. lol. well heres more fuel for the fire. and i am so subscribing. lol. seems pretty shakey actually. probably some kind of merchandising thing. http://movies.ign.com/articles/121/1215562p1.html

Agent Coulson had a Minimate figure when Thor came out. He even has his little bullhorn in hand.

Ha ha! Funny how they even include the all important Bullhorn with that figure!

Cos my article was deleted, now loads of people in the internet think that Disney/Marvel asked me to remove it and it was legit -_-

Ok, this is probably just marketing but his death was very comic booky so:

We learned yesterday that merchandising had revealed some spoilers about The Amazing Spider-Man, and now the same is apparently true of The Avengers.

The Hollywood Reporter points out this article at Movieweb that claims toymaker NECA sent a product description to retailers this week for HeroClix figurines for the Avengers movie that reveals the identity of the movie's rumored second villain.

The product description follows, so beware of spoilers:

"Charging straight out of theaters and onto your tabletop, Marvel's the Avengers Movie HeroClix set features heroes like Captain America and Thor as they battle the villainy of the Red Skull and Loki! Each Counter-Top display includes standard one-figure boosters as well as new three-figure 'Team Packs'! Team Packs are designed with strong thematic undertones - play a Hydra force or defend freedom with a S.H.I.E.L.D. team pack!"

So that means Red Skull is in Avengers, right? Well, as THR points out, "NECA could just be bundling related Marvel characters together, but the end of Captain America certainly didn't rule out future appearances from Weaving's Red Skull."

"Gullible humans," as your fake email so cornily put it.

It's usually Monday, but the last trailer was released on Tuesday, no?
