I love the description's of Thor and Cap's abilities for those two toys, in addition to using his super strength I hope we get a chance to see Thor's invulnerability showcased in the film (ie. shrugging off weapon fire).

in thor movie they mainly focused on the action, which only showed a few power of thor....i hope they expand that in the avengers...

My problem with them is that they're baggy, shiny and plain-looking. Definitely not something I'd expect someone to wear in battle. G

I like the fact that Thor's pants are baggy since it gives him a more modernized look than tights or chain mail would, besides Thor is pretty much invulnerable so he really doesn't need much armor to begin with.

The two things I want to see Thor do is display the full extent of his strength and friggin fly.

What this directed towards my post Whiskey?

Agreed

I want to see both of those as well, but I also want to see them showcase his invulnerablility by shruggin off bullets/lasers etc.

um.... I'm pretty sure he did some flying on Asgaurd

Well for me personally, I'd want to see his flight sequences executed in a more detailed and longer manner, where we have close ups of him doing aerial maneuvers and such, similar to Banshee's flying sequence from X: FC. I'd also want to see more element based attacks from him as well.

For the rest, I'd want to see:

1. Captain America to be shown doing more acrobatic things

2. Hulk showing more intelligence

3. Widow using her guns in a fight

4. New Arsenal for Iron Man

5. Hawkeye going all modern day "legolas" with his archery

I never said he didn't, you should've quoted the person I quoted.

Besides, that person also said he wants to see those things "to the full extent".

Actually he flew multiple times ....

1. As he was heading towards the castle to confront Loki at the end
2. As he fought the Destroyer
3. As he defeated the Johunteim beast
4. When he took Jane for a ride to the Bifrost site in New Mexico

i just want to see the flying more expanded in that, i want him to fly mid battle and little more close-up wouldnt hurt
some of the flying scences especially the destroyer one seems weak....

I want to see the kind of flying from Thor like we got from Iron Man in his movies

Eh, it's just my personal preference. Like I said, it doesn't affect my desire to see the movie. Thor's still right there with Cap as my favorite hero of the bunch.

Thor flew plenty in his movie, but I get what people are saying. There really wasn't a good, clear look at him doing it. Like sabetoonth said, shots similar to IM would be awesome.

Yeah, IM's flying sequences were done superbly in his movies. Thor's had a little less "wow" factor and were less convincing.

Just watched this again on Blu Ray and i gotta say the movie was just awesome as long as they were on Asgard. Just wasn't as good for me when he came to earth. Hope they really bring the bravado of Thor into the earth setting for Avengers. And Thor 2 should take place in Asgard and some of the other realms. And Bring back Anthony Hopkins as Odin!

Here is an example of how awesome Hawkeye can be: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUqlOrG8dj8&t=3m14s
If they can make scenes as epic as this cartoon than we are in for an awesome ride. in fact this episode in particular is one of my favorite episodes of the series. It features all kinds of great stuff including a smart Hulk. Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is an amazing cartoon on par with shows like X-Men The Animated series and Spectacular Spider-Man. If you haven't seen it yet and you are an Avengers or Marvel fan, which I'm assuming since you are here, you should definitely watch this.

I always thought that was beyond cheesy. He didn't even see his target. o_O

Exactomundo!

Folks, the trailer is not coming out with major fanfare. Disney/Marvel wouldn't let this movie 'sneak out under the radar'. There is going to be a major announcement to herald its coming.
