I'll just go to the bathroom when the game is on. :p

Very true, but Loki is capable of mind control and I hope he shows the improvement in his magical abilities by using them on a very large scale.

Fair enough. I'd love though for Whedon to keep Hulk's natural resistance to straight up mind control(suppression of another's will ala' Professor X) in tact. Hulk has always been resistant to mind control which is why having Loki manipulate him via trickery makes more sense. Hulk can be tricked far more easily than he could be outright controlled. I always speculated that was mainly because his psyche is so screwed up that it would be like trying to control a car when the engine is damaged to the point that it doesn't even run right(if at all). Mentally healthy people are probably easier to control since their minds work like a well oiled machine.

Plus, if you've ever had to deal with someone who's autistic/mentally ******ed or who's mind is messed up significantly you'd know that one thing they seem to have an abundance of is willpower. Like Rain Man, no matter how much you try to reason with him that he can't watch Judge Whopner and the People's Court he just won't be able to accept that and in the end he'll win the test of wills. Best you can do is trick them into thinking about something else. I know this firsthand as I have a younger brother who's mentally ******ed.

Hulk's the same way(not that he's autistic), especially the Savage Hulk. He literally can't give up in a fight or a test of wills with Banner because such thinking is beyond his comprehension. In a way it's a way in which a weakness(his low intelligence) also in other ways turns out to be a strength.

I have work tomorrow but...hey I'll be tired if it means I get to see the footage tonight.

We can't give an official time, but we'll let everyone know when it's time! RT @mattnotis: @Avengers What time is the commercial airing?

Isn't it strange that THE AVENGERS spot has no official time.

It may be the most highly anticipated of all the ads and thus keeping its time secret will keep people viewing all the ads.

Did nobody else catch the brief Chris Evans interview pre-game?
They showed a 15-sec teaser, but it was all old footage from the original trailer, just a little more hi-def. They didn't ask Chris much, except about who he was picking for the game (for the record, he's from Boston, so I'll let you figure out his answer.) :)

I don't think any commercials have specific times seeing as it's during a live, unscripted game they can't just cut to a commercial in the middle of a play. I'm pretty sure they just have the number of commercial breaks and what commercial is in each break to go by.

From the Marvel Facebook: "
Make sure to watch Super Bowl XLVI today for a new 30-second Marvel’s The Avengers commercial! Which team do you think Nick Fury would support?"

I hope that is an error. Wasn't it supposed to be a minute?

Only on this board would we actually schedule **** to do during the game in order to bide our time until a movie promo comes on.

Great! So roughly what time will that be?

Too bad we won't receive that spot in foreign countries. However, I'll try yo be here for descriptions at least.
