Try opening in itunes. It has a timer on my iphone. It's about 2 hours long, so go a little more than half way and you should find it.

I've been wondering this as well. I looked up Iron Man 2's official runtime on IMDB, and then I opened the movie file which is exactly the same time listed (credits and all). So I would say "yes" to the question.

However, there's still the question whether Whedon meant the film credits-less was 135 minutes

yeah 2 hours 15 minutes sounds perfect to me. Films that run to or over 2 and a half hours tend to feel very long, and its very easy to get bored after the first half.
