Okay, clearly I used the wrong wordt:

what I meant was that it seems like people are trying to make the love story too much more than what it needs to be, considering its not the main plot of the movie. And I don't know about you guys, but I just get a bad feeling about romance in comic book movies. Am I the only one who wants to see ZERO romance in these movies? Like in the avengers. After the spiderman films, i just get so nervous about these marvel movies that have romance in them.

Its all about the chemistry. If the actors have none together then it just falls flat.

I know attempting to educate people who use exaggerated comparisons is for the most part a futile attempt, but with so many fans (here, and so many places around the net) claiming this movie looks like a made-for-tv-film I think a reminder should be issued. Here are two examples of recent made-for-tv action/fantasy/sci-fi movies. If you honestly believe The Avengers looks anything like these I'd dare to say you're just a contrarian.

Btw, I definitely agree with you that The Avengers look nothing like a made-for-TV movie, at all. People who said it have nothing to back up their claim.

You can still probably find them online, like on tumblr (under the Avengers tag, if you're willing to brave the crazy stuff that gets posted there)

The book itself, if Amazon is to be believed, is currently listed as coming out April 3rd

The kids books are already out at Barnes and Noble. Probably other book stores too. I saw them early in the month on my last stop there.
