The kids books are already out at Barnes and Noble. Probably other book stores too. I saw them early in the month on my last stop there.

The kids books for this film? (Not talking the ones for the individual solo films). That's seems odd. The cover of the leaked images indicated it was "The Avengers Movie Storybook" every site I've looked at (including B&N) don't list is as coming out till 4/3 - is someone being naughty and putting it out early?

Well, it only revealed a little more than the extended Superbowl trailer, so I don't think it's a big deal if you had seen everything up to this point already. But if you want to keep Helicarrier and Quinjet as a surprise, then one should try to avoid the Japanese trailer.

As this is the culmination of 5 films with all the guys coming together for the 1st time and a lot of the background already covered I'd expect a lot more action money shots than a normal film, certainly many more than we are seeing in all the trailers so far combined. I know some films where all the best shots are covered by trailers but I'm sure this isn't one of them.

It's hard to believe that The Avengers is almost upon us, but it still feels like a long wait even though it's about 1 1/2 month left until May 4. Yes, I know some countries will have it earlier than us so it's an even shorter wait for them. Basterds!

Yep yep. No surprising since store clerks don't really care about this kind of stuff.

I would have bought em but my son quickly lost interest in all the Cap and Thor books I picked up for him. Didn't want to drop unnecessary sheckles. Plus, Hasbro's Avengers goodie box is due in next week. We'll be having way too much fun with that

Piecing it all together they've really only released about 6 minutes of a 2:15 film. Considering all the secrecy around it, though, I doubt any of the future trailers/clips/etc will have anything of consequence that will spoil the movie.

just watched the trailers back to back. The american one is better i'd say, much better editing and flows alot smoother, but the Japanese one has better visuals.

Anyone notice how Thor seems to have some kind of armoured leggings or boots? Could just be the blur of the photo, but it definitely seems to be reflecting light.

Perhaps Thor sort of summons it with his armour like he does with his arms? Or perhaps not.

The part in the trailer where Thor summons Mjolnir to him, he looks like he's in a government facility, maybe the Hellicarrier and we've also seen Hulk seemingly smashing his way through the Hellicarrier, could this be where the two meet and duke it out?
