I happend to like both actually and I can't wait to see Cap in action with the classic super suit in The Avengers.

I think just removing the neck piece from the new version, like the WWII version, would make it look better.

I like the modern day suit more than the WWII suit. But I like how Evans looks in the WWII much, much more. It's not like he's that muscular to begin with and the new one takes away all his bulk. Just like those comics that slim him down, it doesn't look right.

Did you SEE Captain America? He was pretty huge after they performed the experiment.

I believe Red Skull might have been transported to one of the Nine Realms, too. But Hugo Weaving claimed he wasn't really interesting in playing him again, so, I half-expect Schmidt to really be dead, and be replaced by Baron Zemo as Captain America's archenemy in future installments.

Or they could just recast Red Skull (as they did with Banner and War Machine).

Plus it'd be easier to recast Skull since its a ton of make-up and SFX

Unless he found himself a way to extend life expectancy he'd have died of old age anyway right? He wasn't really all that young in the 40s

Who knows how time passes in the other realms? Plus the formula he took that turned him into the Skull could have effected his aging.

Yes and I've met Evans twice. He was never "huge" but he was in really athletic shape during Cap filming. Plus he's considerably smaller now, probably because he wasn't on his Cap workout routine. Last October was the last I saw him and my arms were bigger than his haha

EDIT: Athletic as in low body fat and good muscle tone. The camera added the bulk.

It is pretty cool, I'm interested in that giant arc reactor looking device I saw on that card over at CBM. Very intriguing.

Haha it's not at all. I'm not bulky and hardly work out. I'm 5'10 and clock in at 185. Evans is I think 6 even and he looked about 10 - 15 lbs less than me. My gf and I were really surprised at his lack of size. That being said, Colin Firth looks like an AIDS patient IRL.

Dude he looked horrendous at my Tinker Tailor int last year. Like he's been fighting tuberculosis. Sunken in eyes, ultra skinny and gault features. There went my man crush

But, yeah, Evans looked like some random frat guy. I wouldn't have even noticed it was him if he were walking the crowd.

Hiddleston is really skinny (girl jeans skinny) but Hemsworth is a monster. Seriously, his upper arms are the width of my thighs.

LOL Many reasons. Maybe taking a gem would be more inconspicuous. Maybe he didn't wanna make himself obvious to Thanos. Maybe he didn't want to rule the universe, but to just conquer on a smaller scale, and get under Thor's skin :P

I like the older one, not because I think the new looks bad (it does look good) but because it translates very well the 'soldier' aspect of Rogers. Is a very nice mixture of the classic superhero costume with a real war outfit. That's why I think it's so much better than the "clean" comic-booky version. Still, is a nice evolution.

First of all, 5'10 185 sounds like a pretty muscular build to me man haha.

Secondly, no way. Chris Evans at 6 feet, 170ish? I have a hard time believing that. Shrink him down two inches to our height (I am 5'10 as well), and they say, 5 pounds per inch? Shrink Evans down to 5'10 and he would be probably around 165. Now I weigh 165, and I probably have similar muscle tone to him, I must, being a college sprinter lol. However, he is significantly Bulkier than me, even in the trailers for The Avengers. You sure you think you had about 10 15 pounds on him? Because pound for pound, I am willing to bet I am not bigger than him.

Actually, in a recent Details (I think!) photoshoot on a beach, Evans looked really lean, leaner than I ever remember him being. But still in great shape, like an athlete like Poni said. Not that it changes my fangirling for him. Not. In. The. Least!!
