I don't really mind the minimal spoilers (alien race) that doesn't really bother me. But some the major spoilers just ruin the movie exprience. It's like watching a movie with someone next to you saying "oh man, I love this part, watch this, watch this it's gonna be awesome, watch". That kills the moment.

Regardless, I'll still enjoy the movie even if I spoil it for myself. I still enjoyed Harry Potter eventhough I had read the books and knew what was going to happen.

But with two days to go, I am really trying to avoid major spoilers. But sometimes its so hard to look away.

yeah if this place starts getting too spoiler-riffic I would want to stay away from here, though I have a feeling that won't happen as I have an ever so-slight addiction to this place lol.

Don't know if this has been brought up yet but I don't like that Stark refers to Thor as a demi god in the latest TV spot. Did the writers confuse Thor with Herc?

There was a pretty big blow out over this a few weeks ago, I think he's just saying that because of how far fetched the idea of Thor being a god is.

God, demi god, doesn't matter what they call him. We all know the truth!!!!! ;)

LOL, there has to be gods in order for there to be demi gods. I hope somebody's got a better reason than that!

Demi-God doesn't always refer to "half gods", there are other definitions of than that because it can also be used to describe someone with god-like abilities.

"In some mythologies it also describes humans who became gods, or simply extremely powerful figures whose powers approach those of the gods even though they are not gods themselves."

Nonesense, I'm pretty sure were on the same side bro.

Just booked my tickets for a 3D screening on April 26th. Can't wait.

That's true, but Thor obviously has the power of a god. Perhaps if you take that sentence in context that some people believe gods would be omnipotent it can work, but then again the very concept of omnipotence is a logical fallacy in human understanding.

I love how there's already an after-credits thread where people are spoiling the surprise for themselves.

Damn I missed 10 pages of the thread despite going to bed at 5am! All those tweets sound great. I'll put more weight into what I hear from you guys 1st hand after this weekend though. I've just hardly ever seen downbeat tweets straight after a film premiere.

Hahaha some people just like knowing what lies ahead I guess.

In the case of
Thanos possibly being at the end
, it has been speculated for a looooong time....I suppose people wanna know if they're right or not.

But, for me, time will tell. May 4th baby!

There's an after credits scene for The Avengers? nice.

like there wouldnt be? that is a staple of the Marvel Studios films(TIH being the only exception) hmmm if Avengers does well could the green light an Incredible Hulk sequel along with everything else?
