It's coming in January instead.

Easy I know how Mark Ruffalo looks like and they've done it with every past actor/director (Ang Lee) who's gotten into the mo cap suit to portray the Hulk.

They already have existing concept art renders, maybe not actual scenes but definitely concept shots using Mark Ruffalo as the base of the look. It's obvious and the picture isn't nearly as "blurry" as you're trying to make it out.

I think you're trippin'. It is impossible to tell what the Hulk's face actually looks like and how faithful it is to Ruffalo's based on that blurry, tiny shot we actually have.

If the December thing is false, is the ASM trailer with TF3 not true either?

That, I don't know. But I wish it could come out with TF3, I really do. Spider-Man is one of my fav. heroes, so it would be kinda cool to get even a little teaser in 3D)

I hope they have an explanation for why Tony's suit went from the triangular chest shape to a circle again.

He has both triangular and circular (new) arc reactor suits now. RIM posted about it a few pages back.

Technically the Arc reactor in Tony's chest is still round, only the element is Triangular

I'm sorry, but that poster is so crazily awesome that words can't actually describe it.

:D yes it is even for a licensing poster. hehehe

Yeah I'm sure as soon as they announced the Team last year they began work tho Wobs.

Personally, I would LOVE to see a silhouetted group shot like on EMH.

I'm sure they have settled on a design/model and will have done test renders using that (would love to see them), but his actual scenes in the film, full renders done from Ruffallo's mo-cap work, incorporated into the scene etc, would likely be either just in the works or will be started on in post.

I'm just thinking back to Hulk 03 and TIH. We didn't really get to see what he was gonna look like on film for either of them until the first trailers.

Yeah I was going to say Ang's Hulk we didn't see him until the film was out, I kind of liked that in a way.

Haven't seen this posted yet, so:

Expanded quotes from RDJ's and Jon Favreau's appearance at the Hero Complex Film Festival on Sunday. (RIM posted some quotes from this several pages back.) (Link via io9.)

RDJ's main Avengers-related comments:

Well, I hate everybody. [Audience laughs] I’m not talking about the cast, I’m not talking about Joss. What I mean is I tend to look at a scene and say ‘This is absolutely impossible, we can’t shoot this, it’s horrible. I can tell you 10 other movies its been in, I refuse.’ I usually start off the morning by refusing to do what I’ve signed on to do. So I brought that attitude, happily. I just thought ‘How are you gonna put all of us clowns together? He’s wearing a suit, he’s all jacked up, he’s so and so and poor Mark Ruffalo, he’s gonna out do us’. And we’re about six weeks in and I have to say Joss Whedon is nailing it. He’s so smart and so good. And it’s gonna be great. I can’t believe I just said it, I never could’ve believed this but it’s gonna be great.

I was even more interested by Favreau's comments:

Especially because it’s gonna be so difficult for whoever does that one because although it’s Iron Man 3, the whole Avengers thing…I guess in comics you can say that it’s an individual storyline and you can break it off into a group. But in movies, it’s hard not to take into consideration what just happened. What are you gonna say? ‘They all just lost their cell phones and you can’t get help?’ So it’s going to take a lot of ingenuity to make it make sense to a mainstream film audience as well as a comic book audience.

Because the cell-phone thing puts a finger on something I've been wondering how they'll handle, as well, for subsequent Earth-based solo movies. (Thor having that advantage that if you set portions of his solo movies in the other Realms, it might make more sense why he can't call on his Avengers teammates.)

Thoughts?

I always just figured they go into their own adventures and become too busy with them. Shouldn't be that difficult, I don't think. They can work in a mention in IM3 and not get too wrapped up in it. Even if it's just some fast paced Tony/Pepper banter.

"Can I get grandpa Rogers on the telegraph?"
"I tried, Fury had him sent off on a mission in Europe."
"What about Hammertime? Thong."
"Thor? Sorry, I think the Asgardian god has lost his cell phone."

heh I can actually see RDJ/Tony saying that.

If anything on the whole of the interwebs actually deserves the term 'epic', I think it might be this^^^

Now that it's clearer, the swirling above Hulk's head is more noticeable. I assume it's supposed to be a wormhole for Thor's arrival but it could also be.....??? Thanos or Skrulls reference?
