Man, I hope they still release it officially tomorrow. I want an up close look at Hulk and Cap especially.

I need to see Cap's full body before making my final judgement, but I like what I see! WINGS! Hopefully his sleeves remain white.

Anybody else surprised by the use of the circular arc light for Iron Man? After all the triangle business in IM2, why go back?

I don't get the grey on Iron Man. I figured in IM2 it was because the suit wasn't finished yet, but it doesn't make sense here. The color is definitely grey too, silver is what the Mark II was.

Love it! The team in action, with an actual glimpse of Hawkeye's movie costume. And no Nick Fury (I love him, I love Samuel L. Jackson, but it annoys me that he'd be treated as an actual Avenger when he's never been on the team in the comics).

:wow:The promotional poster and costumes for The Avengers look amazing.

Thanks for putting up the photo of the poster.

They all look great except for BW. Guys might think differently but speaking as a female, that's not a good angle for Black Widow. *blind*

Why is Hawkeye aiming at Cap?

Okay, first... I just... holy ****... *squeee*!!!

I do kind of agree that Iron Man just makes me *headtilt*. I don't hate it or anything, but the details puzzle me, as does the circular arc reactor. I look forward to getting an explanation for that one.

Also, not a complaint either, but: Thor's tunic, breastplate, whatever you call his top... the design is different from the one he wears in his movie. Just slightly. I had a hard time chasing down a good picture of it that's lit so you can see the details, but the Hot Toys 1/6 scale figure has an accurate repro of it:

The overall effect is that it doesn't look different at first glance. You have to really stare at it. As I say, not a bad thing. Makes me wonder why this depiction is different. The Thor toys have also been more or less faithful to the movie's costume, and none have departed from its details as much as this picture does. So it can't just be a case of "this is just for toys, so who cares".

If I'm right and it's a design update, then that's an interesting decision on their part.

Again: *SQUEEEE*!!!

Honestly guys I think the Iron Man arc reactor is just a mess up.

SQUEE!! SQUEE!! ZOMGCaphasraisedwings!!! Double SQUEE!!

Yeah, the poster's a'right :cwink:

I'm pleased that Thor finally gets to visit a city but he might be a tad annoyed that his legs have been chopped off below the knees.

The artist was expressing his hidden appreciation for Rob Liefield.

I love the feel of this poster. Seeing hulk back there makes me smile.

So does anyone else think that in regards to the members we'll see interact with each other first in terms of chronological appearances for the film, that it'll go something like this?

1. Steve/CA meets Black Widow and Hawkeye first.
2. Steve is acquainted with Tony Stark/Iron Man.
3. The Four Avengers travel and locate Bruce Banner/The Hulk.
4. The 5 Members of the Avengers are then introduced to a returning Thor later in the film.

What do you guys think?

Trying to "act like I've been here before".....

It looks very nice...................Who the hell am I kidding????

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! I declare today the most awesome day in fanboy history!

I just noticed..... no Maria Hill. :csad:

**** THIS THING! :cmad::cmad::cmad:

*stomps out of thread*

I noticed Thor's costume has some slight changes to the bottom part of the torso as well.
