I would like to thank you in providing a brillant detailed non spoiler reaction to the film.

Having seen the amazing photos of the hulk, I was wondering whats your opinoun on hulk in terms CGI is it realistic and consistant ?(because in the two hulk movies once he moves it got worst) is it one of the best CGI characters you ever seen like cesar, captain baboosa from pirates, golum etc or is it decent similar to the two hulk movies?

Not the best CGI character I've seen, but there was only a few times that I actually thought the CGI was spotty, but not spotty like horribly noticeable spotty.

Thanks for all the info Bosef... But I do have a couple of questions...

With ending credits and everything... What was the runtime for the film?

Also, during the final battle... Do they show any deaths/injuries of the civilian variety? Or do they tend to shy away from it? And if yes was it kind of shocking?

They shy away from it.

Does Thor break any more coffee mugs? That's the question I want to know.

I'm a big fan of JJ Abrams' Star Trek (2009), so if this turns out to be on par with that movie, I'll be ecstatic, although judging from the Twitter reactions I have a feeling that The Avengers will surpass that movie, both critically and financially.

Yes, there were in fact.

1 - I felt like a lot of the cosmic scenes were a bit off-balance and cheesy.
2 - Thor's return is sorta glossed over and felt awkward at first, but it's quickly forgotten. But still, the whole how did he get to Earth and Jane stuff was sorta obviously a result of the separate solo films versus this one.
3 - One or two CGI shots in the finale bothered me.
4 - There was 30 seconds in the middle where I got bored for some reason, don't know why.
5 - Wanted a TAD more from Hawkeye in terms of characterization, but it's okay that I didn't.
6 - I wanted a particular Cap scene that didn't make it into the cut.
7 - I was really meh about the end credit scene, or mid-credit scene, whatever.

But like I said, you just sorta don't give a f- in the end.

Well they all sound relatively minor in terms of gripes. And if the film is good enough to make YOU not care by the end then my anticipation has grown exponentially.

If someone sat me down and said: Star Trek and Avengers, what do you want to watch?

I'd easily go Avengers.

1) Are there hints/easter eggs relating to possible future movies/characters (Black Panther/Namor/Hank & Janet, etc.)

---------------------------------------------

DOn't remember. Almost every time the Hulk spoke, the audience was cheering or laughing at something he'd just done before speaking.

This is a [BLACKOUT]point disappointing. NO hidden reference to the rest of the Marvel Universe. No one.[/BLACKOUT]

All things strictly for the fans ([BLACKOUT]cameo by Stan Lee, the iconic sentences, easter eggs, post-credits scene[/BLACKOUT]) is rather disappointing. :csad:

That's good enough for me because I really liked JJ Abrams' take on Star Trek.

So I guess Kevin Feige wasn't lying when he said there wouldn't be any other characters show up. Didn't Poni_Boy or one of his buddies say there WERE tons of Easter eggs? Just curious what they are, assuming he wasn't just full of it.

I gotta stop reading this thread. Thanks for telling me that it's awesome, Bosef. All I needed to hear that it is as good as Star Trek and they handled everything well.

Just out of curiosity Bosef but what CGI character holds that crown for you?

Bosef how much of an emphasis on teamwork was there? Did it normally start off all chaotic and they built up from it or did they all have chemistry to begin with.

CGI for Hulk are incredible. But the incrustation of alien ships in New York... it's different.

Hydraulx, Digital Domain, Weta, ILM => FX Assemble !

I really hope Cap in ice was not cut. Cap and Peggy being gone I can deal with.

Ohhh a scene not shown last night is being filmed tonight!

1 - [BLACKOUT]Power Rangers[/BLACKOUT]... :woot:
2 - Pepper and [BLACKOUT]Jane "in" the movie... but no Carter and Betty. Not a single allusion[/BLACKOUT]. Why :csad:
3 - Yes, in CGI terms, the final battle is under Hulk et other fights.
4 - Helicarrier scene ? A bit too long...
5 - No, it's Avengers, not Loki vs. SHIELD :woot:
6 - Me too.
7 - Same, to predictible. And poor CGI.

8 - missing two iconic sentences ... too disappointed :waa:

It's more of a focused movie for its own sake, and I like it.

He may have seen stuff I didn't. I was really just absorbed by the ride.

I was okay with the two iconic sentences being missed.

And I LOVED the Helicarrier stuff.

They have to work to be a team, but they are DEF a team and utilize teamwork.
