Okay, I wanna clear this whole after credits thing up.
There.are 2 scenes. One is mid credits, after the animated credits, and features Thanos ( trying to.attack Earth would be to court death) The actual post credits scene is probably the scene they're shooting tonight.

Didn't joss deny this? Also, I don't buy it. Like at all.

I am very excited about this film, it is why I join this forum just now :yay:

I like what I have read about it so far, especially Hulk's part

I did not like Hulk 08 at all and think it is very over rated movie, I give it 5/10 personally

Iron Man and Thor I do like very much 9/10, Captain America 8/10, good but not quite as good

Will Avengers be 10/10? :yay:

I forgot my question, might sound daft but

Can anyone who seen the film remember the credits in terms of billing order?

Ruffalo confirmed it as well, which points to the fact that it involves RDJ and Ruffalo and probably an IM3 tie-in. (if you remember, Banner and Stark leave together in Stark's Acura NSX at the end of the Central Park scene)

It has been confirmed by multiple sources who have seen the film, and posted spoilers on here that the Thanos scene comes right after the animated cast credits, before the traditional credits kick in, therefore not a post-credit but a mid-credit scene. So probably this extra scene they've just shot is the post-credit.

Well at the end after the battle banner and stark drive off together maybe hulk has something to do with IM3

I hate to be that guy, but did somebody post a detailed plot description, or how do you know this?

I think most on here are USA right?

I am in UK and it gets released 26 April, which is like a week earlier than USA

:yay:

I will post spoilers in here once i seen it

So it's all but confirmed Coulson dies?

If that AICN review is right we lose a fan favorite....that's the only way to go

Spoiler tag that sir.

It's not a spoiler?

AICN says a "fan favorite" will die....doesn't say who

I am hypothesizing that it can only be Coulson. If anyone takes what I say as gospel you need to find yourself a different religion.

IIRC bosef said that Cap says it, but it didn't go over as well as it should with his audience because it came off after a kick ass Hulk moment and they were too busy marking out.

I didn't say Cap said "Avengers Assemble"

Who likes the TV Spot with Cap America and Hulk

Cap says Hulk, Hulk looks around, Cap says SMASH and Hulk gives big grin :yay:

It is rather silly to read a thread that has a big spoiler warning in the actual title and then not want to know spoilers

It may be a spoiler thread, but i think the big ones, like character deaths, should still be spoiler tagged.

If I had visual confirmation that Coulson dies I would have put it in spoiler tags....but I do not...I'm just putting the pieces together and asking if anyone has any better guess

But are we so sure that it's Coulson? "Fan favorite" could also refer to Nick Fury. Hell, might even refer to Hawkeye, which would be a damn shame. But then again, sounds like they've already wasted Hawkeye's potential anyway....he sounds like the fifth (or sixth, or seventh, or eighth) wheel.

I wouldn't say that, from what i've read he gets some awesome moments. Fact is it was always inevitable that some characters wouldn't get as much focus as others, in terms of characterisation.

Yeah, fan-favorite doesn't really mesh with [blackout]Happy Hogan[/blackout], imo. So is this another [blackout]death[/blackout], or could they be referring to the same one?

I just thought of a question I not seen asked yet

Do the aliens have a "boss" type figure, not including Loki

I mean a strong and powerful one of them who might battle Thor or Hulk or someone during the end

Exactly. Marvel and even their partners have ALREADY topped and stayed ahead of TDK many times over. It's a silly comparison. The reviewer must be functioning under the false assumption that if he ties everything from the genre to Nolan that people will take him seriously. He failed.

Is that why the general audience and critics compare all CB/Superhero movies to The Dark Knight? Hmmmm. That was merely one review out of the inevitable hundreds that will make the identical comparison. Will you flip out because of them as well? If so, I can only imagine how fanboys took Devin Faraci's article regarding the importance of The Dark Knight Rises to the genre.

I get it. This place is a haven for all Anti-Nolan nonsense (minority of posters), but these types of comments really give The Avenger boards a bad image (just as much as the Batboards).

Nolan's Batflicks and Marvel Studios' films are on complete opposites of the CBM spectrum. One operates in a dark, grounded and gritty realm, the other in a more fantastical, fun and light-hearted dimension.

So please, grow the fortitude to be honest, and not be pompous. Both approaches work, however, TDK is a pop-culture film like The Titanic. Comparisons will indeed be made because of the impact the film ingrained and entrenched.

This time around, I definitely agree with you Doomsday. We should take any comment that equates this film to "Marvel's TDK" to be a compliment (unless the reviewer states they hated it), and not as an opportunity to bash TDK. I wish the topic could be avoided entirely though.
