Dude - the helicarrier sequence? How overwhelmingly awesome was all of that? And then you're like -- how can they top that? And it's amazing how he made each hero feel like they could be dead and were being pushed to their limit...

it's so magnificent. I was getting a bit worried with the "Hawkeye is least developed" talk since he's my fave. But I didn't realize him being the least developed simply meant that every single character was incredibly fleshed out, and he just had the least screen time. Haha.

And it's on par, if not above, X2.

Wow, and I deeply loved X2.

I get the feeling that by the end of the summer, both TDKR and The Avengers will have been the peak of the genre.

How awesome was it when Thor just waits for his hammer to come as Hulk is charging towards him and then just at the last moment -- it arrives and SLAM! Also love how the hammer falls on Hulk's wrist and he can't move....lol

The fact the they showed Hulk saving Iron Man from the fall. I would of loved it if they didn't know Hulk would saves him. That moment would have been much more suspenseful.

Absolutely. There's an insane amount of those "wow" moments too. You almost miss one because you're still cheering about the one before it.

Yeah, would have been cool not to have known that. There are a dozen or so of those moments that are so much more in context if you don't know about them before hand.

That got the biggest laugh in my theater. That and the Hulk/Loki moment.

Yep.

That, and then also when Widow hops onto the alien bikes (the CGI there just irked me a bit and felt awkward), and then the mid-credit scene were just meh things for me that I didn't like.

Other than that, was on board everything else.
