Dunno. I saw Hulk say something [BLACKOUT]after he beat the **** out of Loki[/BLACKOUT], but the audience was too busy cheering so I didn't hear what he said. What was it?

EDIT: THAT, and the roaring he kept doing was WAY different from Ferrigno's in TIH. So it probably WAS Ruffalo.

"Puny God."

You, my friend, should be shot and left to die painfully in the woods!!! :csad:

Who is Jenny Agutter!!!:cmad:

Kids this days... Dont know their past!!:cmad:

Just kidding (or am i...?). Jenny Agutter, a classic actress whose probably most famos rols were the leading ladys of Walkabout, Logans Run and An American Werewolf in London.

She probably look more like this nowadays,

She plays, i think, somebody in the international security council. She is also the one that thought, mistakenly, spiderman was on it, or just named him in an interview and hilarity insued...

The only particularly memorable member of the council to me was Powers Boothe.

She was fine. Honestly, if you didn't know her voice you wouldn't know she was in the movie. The Council are all on video boards and have their bodies and faces more or less blacked out.

Oh, HER? Yeah, I remember hearing a female voice from one of the senators. Was probably her.

I asked this before & never got an answer but what happened in Budapest between BW & HEye?
I guess they went on a mission there? I think they showed a pic of it on the computer screen when they were looking at the Hawkeye and Black Widow files

Saw this yesterday and I have to say it was incredible. I never though I would get to see this film actually happen and now that it has I couldn't be happier.

It was crazy because my friend in I almost didn't get in. I wanted to get to the screening at like 7 but my alarm didn't go off so we didn't get there till about 8. And when we got in line there was already 120 people in front of us. When they started checking people in we found out they cut off the line just 10 people behind us.

Biggest reactions form my crowd, and there were a few. Really good crowd:

Cap knocking out the punching bag only to grab another
Cap saving the old man
When AC/DC starts playing and when Iron Man confronts Loki
"Mr. Stark" "Captain."
Thor landing on the quinjet
Iron Man flying into Thor
The Big Three in the woods
Widow/Loki
Thor hitting Hulk with his hammer
"So that's what it does."
Cap talking to the cops
Mark VII
Pretty much the entire new york scene
"I'm always angry".
Hulk punching Thor for payback
"Puny God" (This got almost the biggest reaction)
Iron Man diverting the nuke
"Did someone just try to kiss me?"
The group shot
THANOS!!!!

It was an amazing film and I can't wait to see it again, already bought my tickets and plan on seeing it a couple more times after that. I'm going to do a full review on my site (link below) if anyone wants to check that out in a couple days. But yeah, they really knocked it out of the park with this one.

Out of curiosity: will all people here who saw it in a fan screening go and see it again?

Well I'm scheduled to see it again next Wednesday at a press screening (I'm not with press, just know someone) in Chicago. Then I already have midnight tickets for opening day. After that I guess I'll see it about 5 more times.

There was a girl wearing a Flash sweatshirt at my showing and the host about threatened to kick her out. Lol
Made he stand up so the audience could laugh at her. Couple threw popcorn at her

What a bunch of *******s.

What a bunch of *******s.

No, no it wasn't like that. It was all in a joking way. The host was a geek writer from Chicago's Red Eye newspaper. Someone else was wearing the same Avengers shirt as him and he made them stand up and said "You're out of here too!"

This year is so f**king packed, no joke. I'm willing to put my soul on the line and say that 2012 will not be topped for decades. 2012 will make cinematic history.

Looper, Prometheus, Cloud Atlas, The Raid, The Hobbit, Gravity, The Hunger Games, TDKR, The Avengers, The Amazing Spiderman, The Grey, Chronicle, Skyfall, Django Unchained, etc.

dont want to sound to enthusiastic about it,but looking at it now only 50-60% full 2013. seems gigantic compared to 2012.
just take a look at this:last stand,hancel and gretel,die hard 5,seventh son,elysium,oz,captain phillips,jack the giant,oblivion,iron man 3,star trek 2,lone ranger,fast six,hangover 3,after earth,man of steel,world war z,ripd,robopocalypse,pacific rim,wolverine,red 2,300 prequel,robocop,enders game,singularity,thor 2,catching fire,hobbit 2,ninja turtles,mad max,the tomb,snow piercer,out of furnace, counselor,twilight zone and only god knows what else!!
and yeah 2012. isnt pretty bad ;)
amazing,amazing,amazing!!!

I have a question I don't think was brought up yet...

On the soundtrack for the film score, the was a track that had an acoustic guitar playing and it sounded like it fit a really heart felt and dramatic scene, I think the track was called "A promise"

Does anyone who saw it know which scene this played during?

idk if this was asked yet..

How does Cap lose his helmet ? and does he get recover it?

Sounds Awesome; I just can't keep saying that enough.:yay:

In your opinion (which I sincerely respect by the way based on your posts past and present:yay:)

1. Would you say that the film felt like a true "ensemble" for you where no one character was placed above the remainder of the group like how Wolverine is at times in the X-Men films?

2. I had heard from somewhere that Hulk is the one that wakes up Tony when he's unconscious by roaring at him which causes Tony to freak out at first. Is that true?

3. I also heard that Peggy is shown in via flashback. Is that true as well and how?

4. As a fan of Captain America as well, were you satisfied with how he was used in the final battle? Did he inspire the hope and leadership that some have been saying that Fury had intended him to?

1. Yes, I thought the move felt like a true ensemble piece. No one character dominated in terms of screen time so much that it was noticeable. One of the keys to that, I think, was that every scene served a purpose in the film, nothing was extraneous and no moment was wasted. So it never felt like "Iron Man & Friends," "Nick Fury and his Mighty Pokemon," etc.

2. Yep! Tony was lying on the ground after Hulk leapt up and rescued him. With that armor on, Cap couldn't do much for him. Cap, Thor and Hulk hovered over Stark for a moment, at a loss. Then Hulk roared like a mofo and shocked Tony awake. The audience roared, too. :woot:

3. Coulson (:waa:) gave Tony a file on Cap, Hulk and Thor. When Tony put it on his monitors there may have been a photo of Peggy. I'll have to ask my bro if he saw it.

4. As a Cap fan, I was completely satisfied at the way his leadership skills were showcased during the battle. Steve Rogers was portrayed as a natural leader and strategist who could assess a situation on the fly and plan tactics perfectly. He was an inspirational leader to the Avengers and the police and military on the ground.

Cap was sent by his police dispatcher (:word:) to a bank/brokerage where the Chitauri had broken in and were going to slaughter the people inside. He ran all the way over there and leapt into the building, where he battled a bunch of evil aliens who were about to blow it up. During the battle, several Chitauri sort of gang tackled Cap and in the struggle one of them got its claws under his mask and pulled it off. Cap told the people to flee just before the Chitauri bomb went off and blew him out of the building. The mask was also blown up, much to the joy of the fans who hated it. :woot:

He's fighting a Chitauri in a building. The Chitauri gets him in a headlock and rips off his cowl.

Thanks

Damn...I guess Cap really did need that chin strap from the old helmet lol ..I guess he doesn't get that back

another question idk if it was asked either...in the picture where cap see his new uniform..did they edit the helmet with out the ears space exposed..(assuming thats a scene in the movie) and does he have a reaction to it or state he misses the old suit? ..I'd more question bout the other characters but i havent thought of any yet

The ears aren't exposed and Cap doesn't mention anything about his outfit. Coulson talks to Cap in a Quinjet and tells him that they created a new outfit for him, something more modern. Cap says, isn't the stars and stripes a little "old fashioned?" and Coulson says that maybe what they need now is some "old fashioned."

That track played over the final team scene in Central Park. Fury & Hill were on the Helicarrier and Fury's was the only voice heard. It was Loki's send-off, Fury letting the Avengers go their own ways and him promising Hill that they would come back when they were needed again.

A little aside here: Going in I considered that Fury might come across as one more bad guy in the movie. I was wrong. He does operate in a very grey area, with questionable tactics and ethics at times, but all that he does is in service of one goal: protecting the Earth. Fury is not the Avengers' adversary even though he does try to manage and direct them. However, he's brilliant enough to let the heroes make their own decision to join the battle, trusting them to do what's right and guiding them from a distance.
