Anything about a Captain Mar-vell?

No. There are only 3 alien races shown besides the Asgardians, none of them are Kree. Well 4 if you consider the giant snakes to be a separate alien race I suppose.

Well, if you want a small spoiler...
Thor and Odin have been aware of Loki's plans and the existence of his army for some time before TA starts, based on Thor's comments. It's likely that either Odin does not have the ability to transport Thor to Loki's location prior to the events of TA as Loki has been hiding in a place not among the Nine Realms, or it makes zero sense to send his only remaining son into a hostile territory by himself with no backup and surrounded by Loki's army as Odin only has enough juice to transport one person.

Ok that makes more sense. Thanks!

Curious question:

Why would they kill off Coulson when he has said that he was negotiating for future roles, and especially when they just threw him into the new Spider-Man show? It's funny cause I KNEW Joss would pull a fast one and kill a fan favorite YET AGAIN! I guess they could've done that stuff to throw people off the scent...but I distinctly remember an interview with Clark Gregg where he said he had that talk with Joss and Joss said Coulson was safe. LIARS!!! :'(

I really liked the Cap theme throwback when he first appears in uniform for the first time and The AC/DC when IM first shows up. It was a nice touch.

Wow did that really happen?

Well, the movie [BLACKOUT]uses it as a rallying cry for the team. Having a death changes the stakes.[/BLACKOUT]

There were sooooooo many. Stark had
me cracking up at the end when he was lying on the ground after falling from the portal.

Hahaha

Stark (after Hulk roars): "BAH! Wha..what's going on? Did someone try to kiss me?"

Stark: "Anyone ever had Shawarma? No? Me neither. There's a great Shawarma place around the corner. We should go."

Cap: "I think we still have things to do."

Stark: "Right, right.....but then Shawarma."

Well as far as this movie is concerned[BLACKOUT] Coulson dies.[/BLACKOUT]
BUT
That doesn't stop [BLACKOUT]the actor from coming back to do flashback character scenes for future movies.[/BLACKOUT] Plus we don't know what else might happen in the MCU. Remember that magic has now been thrown into the mix.

[BLACKOUT]"Did somebody give me mouth to mouth?"[/BLACKOUT] ROFLMAO!

You're right. I was just looking forward to [BLACKOUT] future appearances by Coulson in continuity going forward. He had this great badass vibe about him and I really enjoyed the humour he brought to a role that was created out of nowhere. However, if this movie is the last MCU film we see him in, then he had a great arc for such a small character [/BLACKOUT]

Hahah ....
and babbling about getting some shwarma. Also, when he was all "ohhh hey" to Huk" .... man I love Whedon's comedic sensibilities. It really made for a nice decompressing moment after the fate of the world was on the line.

^ Oh man that scene had me rolling on so many levels! Just shows how Whedon and this movie doesn't take themselves too seriously and even after such an epic battle, he's got the attitude to throw in that dialogue, LMFAO!

I said this before, but it's the element of laughter which helps to alleviate some of the more outlandish aspects. Whedon knows this.

[BLACKOUT]I loved how Tony and Bruce hit it off so well, they got each other.
That scene of them leaving together in Tony's car after the battle? Awesomesauce![/BLACKOUT]

Anybody who complains there is no depth to these characters simply didn't pay attention to the movie or just wants to be a troll.

I think the out of nowhere awesomeness is what I believe won people over with Coulson. I hope Marvel takes note of the fan response and keeps him in future MCU movies and keeps him largely the same character (no Vision please....100% Grade A Coulson....maybe with a few android parts)

Ya, those two were the only guys who understood what the other was talking about when it came to scientific babble. Which reminds me of the part where Cap boasted about understanding the flying monkey reference. LOL.

There was so much depth that I'm clamoring for Whedon to write all Marvel movie scripts.

Here's the thing ....
Fury manipulated the team with the bloodied up Cap trading cards that were supposedly "in Coulson's pocket." There stands a chance that Coulson isn't really dead. We never saw him carried off in a body bag or anything.
