Also remember - with Smallville, we were seeing bit parts from an overall season. With Flash, we'll be seeing the main character.

It's Bart in Smallville. He also had fake ID cards with the names of Jay Garrick, Barry and Wally in his introduction episode.

Technically, it was Bart (in the comics, he is Impulse).

However, in the episode he premiers, he has several pieces of fake id with the names of the other Flashes.

And seriously i'm still amazed by how bad the Flash and Aquaman costumes were. Actually pretty much all costumes on that show were appallingly bad

^ true dat. And Their Deathstroke was a mega fail, but it still had some Bright moments. The highlights for me were; Green arrow ( it's how I came to know about green arrow), Erica durance, and papa an son Luther.

Green Arrow on Smallville was pretty cool. I liked the actor playing him.

I also liked the last episode and the JSA episodes

I liked their Green Arrow until they made him a regular. Then they went out of their way to ruin his character on SV. Every single one of his storylines from s8-10 were really bad.

^ yeah I liked hartley as well. I remember when I found out that Arrow was to become a tv show and that Hartley wouldn't reprise his role, I was kinda bummed out. So I then checked this Stephen amell guy, and I was like 'ehhhh?'

Then the pilot aired, and it was so freaking awesome that I rewatched it around 6 times on that day and then I was hooked and I couldn't imagine a better person to play arrow then Stephen amell.

I don't think Amell is necessarily the best actor on the planet for GA, but I like him a lot on the show for sure.

^opinions, it's not like there isn't a better actor for the joker then Heath or Christopher as superman, if you look hard enough you'll always find someone better to someone.

Speaking of the joker, I think William dafoe would be freaking awesome.

Anyway I think 2 episodes is too little to send of a character for a spin off, Barry needs to be in more episodes maybe two more towards season end, heck I wouldn't have minded the rest of the season. People are going to forget him by that time episode 18, 19 or 22 rolls in, well non comic fans to be exact.
I hate that 1x20 won't be the backdoor pilot but they could at least have Barry in that episode and a few more.

Agreed. Take those textures, go with either the Barry or Wally belt, lost the 'bulky' forearm guards and helmet, maybe lighten up the 'golden portions (and try not to make the chest emblem look like it's pinned on)...

That could work.
