Can it really turn on a dime, like in TDK & TDKR?

I seen it up close (2 feet away), I have photos of all the aspects about it, but it still leaves me puzzled.

Is it just CGI magic? or can it really do that?

CGI. I think it would be very difficult to flip it with the rider on it.

One thing I found weird was that when the Bat-pod comes to a slide in The Dark Knight when aiming at the Joker, the wheels don't roll over as they did earlier in the Joker truck chase or in TDKR. He just simply slides and falls off. Unless Batman intended to play possum all along :cwink:

I think it's most likely that Batman was playing possum.
