It's about damn time. :applaud

Oh yeah... blu would be so darn pretty for this show.

The movie looks stunning on the format. Seeing the episodes like this would be a real eye opener.

What better way to celebrate Batman's 75th anniversary with the long-overdue release of the 1966 Batman series. I expect this to sell out when it gets released later this year.

I haven't seen this show since I was four or five years old. Always wanted to see it again...

Maybe it's just a sick joke!:hehe:

Oh hell to the yeah,Can't f'n wait!!

I hope it is on blu ray and if the 66 movie is any indication, it will look absolutely stunning.

It's about damn time. I've been waiting for this forever, day one purchase for me.

all I can say is" holy full circle" the tv show that got me interested in the super-hero genre is coming to DVD at last

Good news, it's about time. I'm not big fan of it I do like the show but for those who are big fans do deserve it on DVD/Blu-ray.

it comes on ME-TV as part of thieir"sci fi Saturday night from 7 P M To 8 PM

It's funny that some people (child psychiatrists etc) in my country actually complained that it was too violent for children. They tried to stop it.

Hope they include the BATGIRL pilot short as a Bonus.

For those who doub Adam West could have pulled of a more serious, slightly darker version of Batman, watch episode 4 of The Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians. I know it's a cartoon, but it still proves he had the acting chops to pull it off. Not that I don't love West campy take on Batman.

BATMAN vs. GODZILLA
Corey Bond said:
As a child of the seventies, I grew up watching Batman reruns and Godzilla Saturday matinees on television, but even with my fervent imagination I never dreamed of a crossover between the two. The studios that held the rights to the characters, on the other hand, considered that very thing back before I was even born, each of them envisioning the combo as a sequel to their own successful sixties-era movies.

Toho Studios, following the financial success of 1962's King Kong vs. Godzilla, was eager to pit their giant radioactive dinosaur against another American icon, and set their sights on the Caped Crusader. So in 1965, Godzilla series screenwriter Shinichi Sekizawa wrote a proposal for Batman vs. Godzilla.

Batman vs Godzilla? Wonder how that would have been... A giant Batman against Godzilla, or a regular-sized Batman?
