I'm not a fan of Armie Hammer being cast as Batman. (which is probably not true) He's too much of a pretty boy. His features are too soft.

True. His switch between nice and mean Walt in Breaking Bad could practically be an audition for Harvey Dent.

Agreed. Plus he always looks to me like he might be kind of dumb. To go from Bale to Hammer would depress me to no end.

The dumb look would be perfect for Bruce Wayne's attempts to obfuscating stupidity. He's supposed to look kind of clueless. Bale's Bruce honestly didn't convince me that he was supposed to be kind of a ditz.

I hope he can convince me of his intelligence when he's wearing the cowl and alone with Alfred. He can't be ditzy Bruce all the time.

Totally agree. There are other superheroes that I could see Hammer playing, but Bats is NOT one of them.

agreed. and keaton was never the archetypal batman.

armie would do the parts justice. which is why it's so funny to me that so many people are so against it. there are probably just as many people against him for bats then for gina as wondy. but at least he can act.

Yeah, he might make a good Aquaman or maybe Captain Marvel. But Batman... sorry, I just don't see it. If he ends up landing the role, I'll still give it a shot and hope for the best, but it's tough to picture.

Bruce Wayne needs to have moments where he's brooding and you just know, that's the Batman. And be intimidating under that cowl. I'm sure he'll play the playboy Bruce Wayne well but that's 1/3 of the character.

And as for Hammer having the Conroy voice (inside the suit)..that's what im afraid of.

wayne is two characters. he's the playboy billionaire and batman the crime fighter. if people are concerned about him not looking maniacal in the 10 minutes he'll spend in the cave on film, then i don't know what to say. i guess it's not that hard for me to imagine.
