I'd rather go manganiello over witwer. But he's pretty good.

Joe is not that strong of an actor. He's far too big for Cavills Superman.

He would make a wicked Hawkman though.

Whenever I see Manganiello, the word "meathead" comes to mind. The actor who plays Batman shouldn't make me think that.

I don't think of him as a meathead, but in my eyes, he's just far too beefcake-y for Batman.

I could see him as Colossus, though...

I'm not totally against Joe as Batman...but I really like him for Hawkman (and for the record, I also really like Hawkman, lol).

I think manganiello is a better actor than witwer, and at least from seeing him in True Blood, he doesn't play a meat head. plus he looks like a Batman the animated series batman.

i've read people don't want batman to be bigger than superman. I don't really understand that?

because Joe is about 4-5 inches taller than Cavill. I know camera angles can change things but that is too much time wasted.

I like Joe, but I do have a little trouble seeing him as Batman. But it might work. He's one of the few good things about True Blood right now.

Yeah... but, like...HE PLAYED TEH FLASH TOMSON IN SPIDERMAN AND HE WAS A SUTPID BROOT IN THAT MOVIE SO HE MUST BE A MORON IN REEL LIFE AND STUFF.

superman isn't superman because he's an inch and 20 pounds heavier then batman in the comics, but i don't know about joe as batman. I've always pictured superman as more of a strongman type physically while batman as more of an acrobat-type, so the contrast between cavill and joe mags is a bit too stark for me.

Yeah, I think that's the only issue I have with him. Batman should certainly be jacked (and in the comics he looks like a professional body builder) but a real life Batman would have to be more leaned out to be able to do all of the acrobatic stuff that he does. He'd be built more like an Olympic gymnast (though hopefully taller).

though in my mind Batman doesn't do gymnast flips. That's nightwing.

Manganiello is on my personal favorite list of who shouldn't be Batman.

Hawkman is kinda...average.

While I think while Joe is physically closer to Batman , Witwer is someone I could believe would be obsessed enough, tortured enough, ambitious enough, and dogmatic enough to dedicate his life the extreme and sole , purpose of being Batman. It's kind of quality that imo Bale and Keaton had, but Clooney and Kilmer lacked.

Imo, Witwer is someone you could look at and believe that they have a darkside to him. At the same time , the guy can play charming so he could pull off the Bruce Wayne aspect.

I like Bentley and Witwer for the role. I remember seeing Witwer on a few episodes of Dexter and he was crazy. I was like "Who is this guy?"

Actually, now that i think about it...what do you guys think of Witwer as the Riddler??

can he play masculine? I've only seen him in the wallflower preview.

Not sure, but Ezra Miller can play dark and brooding though.

I've only seen "We Need To Talk About Kevin" so far and it was chilling.
