I was thinking just get Matt Bomer to beef up just a tad and I think he would be perfect for Bruce Wayne/Batman

After checking out more of Joe Manganiello. I discovered he's a better actor than what I thought. He's not as serious as I thought which shows he can do more than just look tough, he could pull of the emotions of a scarred Bruce Wayne. He lost out on Superman because Cavill had more of an innocent aura about him. But Batman is definitely more up Manganiello's street.

I could see Bomer as Bats; he's got that preppy look that would fit Bruce to a 't'. Would be kind of interesting since he played Superman in that commercial.

I always thought Mikkelsen would make for a good Freeze. He's got that depressingly cold feel about him.

But I don't think he could convey the much needed sympathy or sadness that Freeze carries with him. Or maybe he could? It's a question of whether you would feel sorry for him or not depending on his performance. I felt sorry for him when he got shot in Casino Royale lol

I always wondered if there was a place for Benicio Del Toro in Batman? Perhaps Hugo Strange? He's definitely got that mad evil genius vibe going on

i've always liked the idea of benicio del toro as joker personally.

I don't think there is anything particularly wrong with him, other than that his design and motivation are near identical with what Mr Freeze has become. And the latter has the better, more emotionally appropriate motif.

Either role would suit him great

He would definitely suit a Joker and Riddler from TAS.

Del Toro has the versatility to play a variety of villains. And if Bale does return along with Nolan's universe, Del Toro would certainly make a fine replacement of Heath's Joker.

Hell, we might even get Daniel Day Lewis for it. He respected Heath, and must know the process Heath went through as an actor to play Joker. He completely changed his personality and DDL loves to take roles that require him to do that. So fingers crossed there
