Ian Somerhalder is not a bad choice at all. got the looks, the right age, and can play tormented characters well.

I definitely don't want Ackles, but it's not like "TV actor" always equals "bad actor."

While I am not throwing my support behind these people for Batman, but Jon Hamm, Timothy Olyphant, Peter Dinklage (ok, he can play Batman if he wants), Steve Buscemi, Kevin Bacon, Gary Senise, George Clooney, Leonardo Dicaprio, JK Simmons, Christopher Meloni, Johnny Depp, etc... all current or former "tv actors."

He has an intense face and eyes, which I think are vital for any Batman actor. He gives great performance s. He can be funny and psychotic, which is also a factor for the actor.

But I'm holding out for Pacific Rim and True Blood to make a final judgement lol

I like the idea of Andrew Lincoln, Karl urban would be awesome, but I think that would mean no Dredd sequel which saddens me to no end. Josh brolin is a pipe dream but I would love it. It's a shame Joseph Gordon levitt had to become not-batman at the end of tdkr, because I think he'd make a great real batman lol.
