TBQH, I don't really hate him as much a I doubt his ability. I like whatever he brings on board in the character of Dean Winchester. But I really don't think he has the gravitas for Batman!

Don't like Jensen Ackles for Batman... can't see the "dryness" that even Karl Urban could bring to the Batman persona. Dougray Scott for Black Mask is actually a neat choice!

I think Mark Strong nailed Sinestro pretty well, the looks, the voice and personality. I Would love to see it in a reboot, hated GL1. And Nathan Fillion will always be GL :P

I'm fine with the idea of a TV actor being Batman, but even in the realm of TV actors, Ackles isn't that great, imo.

considering everyone's on Andrew Lincoln, Anson Mount, and Jon Hamm's ***** on these forums and suggesting all 3 for batman constantly , I don't really see that. but maybe AMC stars get an easy pass. not any of those 3 would be bad for the role, of course.

IMO, he's not suited for Batman, but that's because he's too good at snarky. He can do dark, but his dark is either black humor or rage at the heavens, not the kind of serene grim-ness suited for Batman.

Jensen Ackles is plenty of things, a horrible actor isn't one of them. Have you ever watched the show?
