That's actually a very good choice for Freeze. Inspired! I remember seeing him bald in Nicolas Refn's Pusher trilogy. He suited that look too.

I don't see it. I see him as Hugo Strange. There's something about his way of speaking of personality that doesn't mesh with Freeze at all.

Yeah, I'd rather see Waltz as Strange. Someone like Hugo Weaving could also fit Strange.

Can totally see Waltz as Strange.

Interesting choice for Freeze I would love to see this cast come together. Who would you cast as Vicki Vale?

Thanks. I'm not sure about Vale. I probably wouldn't use her in an upcoming movie, if the choice was mine, because she is so similar to Lois Lane. I think St Cloud is potentially a better female lead because she has a purity and perfection that allows her to contrast with Batman's murky world almost poetically.

But, if Vale was used, the challenge would be to make her a tough, sassy and beautiful female reporter different to the one in Metropolis. Her appearance would have to play a role in distinguishing her. The key thing would be to cast a talented and likeable young actress who is attractive in a different way to Amy Adams.

How about Gemma Chan? I think she's great.

I mean, Ryan Gosling HAS to be Batman, right? He's a fantastic actor and DAT CHIN.

ryan's retired for a bit. i doubt he'll come back within a year, though, it wouldn't shock me though.

I see him more as The Flash.

But I really don't think he would ever do a comic book movie tbh.

Casey Affleck. Just throwing it out there.

Gosling would make a terrible Batman. He's a fantastic actor, and can brood, but he's too light.

Why too old? I don't think he looks that much older to be quite honest. Do we really want to see a 33 year old Bruce Wayne playing businessman? Jon Hamm has the acting chops and the look nailed.

I would assume that this will not just be a one time thing with whoever they cast as Batman. Also Henry, is fairly young. It would go better if they were about the same age. If they want to put some old man in there like the Dark Knight returns, I don't think that would work, like it does in a comic book.

Also Jon Hamm, I think would fit much better as Lex.

Cavill is fairly young, but has a pretty well ageless look to him. To say Jon Hamm looks like an old man isn't exactly fair. We're also talking about Hollywood. Nothing a little makeup and hair dye can't fix! Botox it up!

I just can't see Hamm as Luthor. We've all seen Bryan Cranston pull off bald and brilliant... why not Heisenberg for Luthor??

Mister Freeze: Christoph Waltz

Yes! I can see it! He reminds me at Freeze in B:TAS

Too old again, on Cranston. I don't think Hamm is an old man by means. If they got a very young and fit actor to play Batman, like Ryan Gosling. Granted that's wishful thinking. I think it would work much better in contrast to Henry.

I honestly don't understand the Gosling hype whatsoever. Great actor, The Place Beyond The Pines was fantastic, but he's no Bruce Wayne. Dick Grayson, sure. Bruce Wayne, absolutely no way. He can do dark and brooding, but you can't change his build and his crackly, high-pitched, angry voice. We would go from Bale's Mumbleman to Gosling's Whinyman.

I really would like to Karl Urban as Bruce.

That's interesting. Judge Dredd/Bones as The Dark Knight. He's got the look down I'd say, and pulled off the Dredd reboot whilst wearing a visor over his face the whole time. Might have to change the delivery and cadence of the Dredd voice a bit, but he might be able to pull it off.

Great actor, that's the most important thing, by far. His build? His build is perfect, he is taller than Christian Bale and Henry and could certainly put on weight if needed. He would look down on Henry.

My casting thread:
Karl Urban - Batman/Bruce Wayne
Walton Goggins - Joker
Christoph Waltz - Mister Freeze
Viggo Mortensen - Hugo Strange
John Hamm - Dent/Two Face

This is it for now :o

Exactly. It's almost as if people have never heard him speak before.

I really would like to Karl Urban as Bruce.

Urban would make a fantastic Batman.
