I would. Since he's still the best live action Batman. To make him Joker would just be bizarre.

I agree. I think The Joker is one of a few really special genre roles, that should be filled by a craftsman chosen on merit. Awesome though Keaton is, it would amount to stunt-casting and seem wasteful.

I'm counting on Joker being a part of this new universe. It would be a shame if Joker wasn't involved, since this is the first time we will ever see a DC shared universe on film..

Joker is one of the most important characters in the DCU, if he is not a part of this new film universe, his absence will be felt.

I don't think he 's proven that he has the chops to pull off The Joker. I'd be interested in seeing him as maybe Victor Zsasz after that fight scene in GoT though.

I say Mark Hamill under a buncha prosthetics and makeup to resemble comic Joker's head/face!

One thing that's great about the character is that he doesn't really have an age. Really, when you think about it, when portrayed with no origin, he doesn't have a race either. He had the Red Hood on and gloves when he took that chemical bath and came out with a distorted chalk white Joker playing card face and head. ANYone can play him!
