JLC. :awesome:

That is true. Though Scorsese doesn't write any of his films, and that has worked out ok for him. :cwink:
lol I don't think even Mr. Snyder's biggest fans would compare him to someone like Scorsese Darth. He's an action movie director and yes has the flaws that you ascribe to him but on the other hand I think he gets too much flack. People go out of their way to defend other directors of comicbook movies with mixed reviews *coughmarcweb* but Zack Snyder is the devil. Not saying you think that but that's what I've seen.

This Batmobile definitely looks "Superman ready" and Batman is gonna mess his **** up and I cannot wait! :awesome:
Where will Batman get the Kryptonite from?
You all must have forgot...

And one specifically for SPIDEY.

My apologies if this has been discussed a ton already in case I missed it, but conceptually this and the Arkham Knight Batmobile are not that different.

Yeah, both have a Tumbler by way of ATV feel. I am sure it isn't intentional, but I definitely welcome it.

If we see the Batplane/Batwing in DOJ, I hope she's shaped like the Bat-Symbol on Batman's chest.

:funny:

Pretty much what I thought too. Looks-wise, it leans much more towards Nolan's, but I could buy that Nolan's got Burton's pregnant, and the result was Snyder's.

Considering the front end of both Batmobiles, why do we assume Nolan's car is the male in this situation? :o

Every new still or set photo just continues to seal the deal for me regarding this movie...and this is certainly no different. I know some of us had our issues with MOS, but this new batmobile, this "wonderful toy", is just another great example of marrying the old with the new and giving us something that feels like we've been there before but fresh all at the same time.

The release date for this event can not get here soon enough.

I like the Batmobile for the most part, but I really don't like the turret on the front.

You don't ? Too bad man.

I think it's the best part. I can already imagine this thing swivelling around and locking on to it's prey.

bahahaha! brilliant. exactly what im thinking too.

My girlfriend's in a nutshell:

I **** you not, if/when they bring this Batmobile to SDCC 2015, she is going to be all over it. I'm not sure if I'm gonna stop her honestly. :hehe:

wait a sec.... is that Jenna? where's that from, Doctor Who's super special deleted scene?

those yellow burton-esque lights...

be still, my beating heart.

I swear that was a ploy from Snyder to get me to like his Batmobile. :hehe: Seriously, I'm sure it sounds silly to most people, but those yellow B89 lights make a big difference to me in the way I perceive Batflecks ride. :hrt:

The new Batmobile is a thing of beauty. I have no love for Schumacher's neon-lit monstrosities, but the '89 Burton Batmobile was hugely iconic and so stylised. I grew up in a car enthusiast family (it's our business) and I remember going with my Dad to see Burton's film in the cinema, and just being blown away by the Batmobile.

Then Nolan brought us the Tumbler, which I also love but for very different reasons. It threw style out the window and was a perfect example of function over form - but that's why I love it also. It's big, it's scary, and it's uncompromising and unrelenting - just like Batman. Burton's Batmobile could never really tackle terrains and unorthodox situations like the Tumbler could. But then the Tumbler didn't have the effortless cool grace and style of Burton's one.

This one from Snyder certainly seems to take the best elements of both. Very functional looking but also has a sleek and arguably aeronautical look with hints of Burton's, particularly round the cockpit area.
