Nah. It was awesome.
The MoS is an almost perfect example. My number one wish is that Reeves resists the urge to make the costume look like a suit of armor. It’s a look we’ve seen over and over and over again and I’m sick of it. There will obviously need to be a muscle suit underneath to provide the necessary definition, but the suit itself should be fabric-based with little to no exterior padding. The Black Panther (in particular), Daredevil, and Captain America suits are perfect examples of the direction I feel the next suit should go in.
I’m not opposed to CGI enhancements when and where necessary. I don’t really understand why others are. These are movies. Everything is fake. As long as it’s done well (and considering where we’re at right now with the technology, there’s no reason why it wouldn’t be), I’m all for it.
Gorgeous.
ExplainIt'd be too Nolan-ish
I feel like a long-eared cowl would suit Pattinson's face. Not necessarily Kelley Jones/Tim Sale long-eared, but still.
This is outstanding!I don't love everything about this, just throwing it down for the sake of conversation. But I do like the colors and the use of the oval in a suit with a bit of a realistic bent.

Alex Ross is the GOAT.
Last one is great if it’s actually a black cape and cowl.
Wizard magazine from the 90’s... I had this issue even. This is outstanding!
Where is it from?
He doesn't have padding in the other costumes and manages to look bigger despite having somewhat looser clothing. Cap's new costumes from Winter Soldier onward is designed and manufactured so well it highlights his physical with compressing it. Though I agree, subtle padding can go a long way.The same way Evans looked so skinny in that first Avengers suit.
Like it or not, padding is a necessity.
I really like the look of the FFH stealth suit.
It looks protective but it’s not all rubber armor.![]()
I wouldn’t mind something like this for Batman.
And no
I’m not suggesting that it be all black![]()
This is outstanding!
Where is it from?
It was a multi-page spread on "Ultimizing" the main DC roster. This was at the height of Marvel's newly launched Ultimate comics line, which was a gateway for new readers to jump in.Wizard magazine from the 90’s... I had this issue even.
It's from an issue of Wizard magazine from the early 2000's. They did a feature with some artists coming up with "Ultimate" versions of DC characters. This is outstanding!
