As soon as the ears are exposed and they aren’t horns on his forehead all of the “it’s Daredevil” comments will be gone. Lol it’s a cowl in red lighting, so yeah it resembles Daredevil.

And can I dislike the last part of a comment? Jesus lol the entitlement is strong here

I only wish that the eyebrow section was a tough sharper. Even Keaton's 89 cowl had thicker eyebrows but they still gave him a mean scowl, but he doesn't look as angry or menacing here.

As someone who hated the Batfleck suits, I'm loving what we're seeing here. Far more interesting and distinctive a take than just adapting the Frank Miller suit onto live action.

That said, of all the influence combinations they could have gone with, I am rather surprised by the decision to merge the Arkham Knight suit with the Adam West cowl. I'm digging the results so far though!

Also the Bat Symbol being made out a gun- possibly even Joe Chill's- is a metal as hell decision.

I think the cowl looks ****ing great. Actually looks like a cowl that he can slip back like a hood.

I’m really really hoping we get unique Kane ears for the first time in live action

To go with that Kane inspired chest logo ...

Would be so visibly unique and a departure from everything else that’s came before it.

Plus it gives it that demonic animalistic silhouette, while the actual nuts and bolts of the suit are still tactical.

As I said, if the gun theory is true, it's not there for practical reasons. It's meant to be for more sentimental reasons, because Bruce is definitely the type of person to do that sorta thing.

I doubt they're Kane ears as you'd probably see the cowl visibly protruding more horizontally to the top. I'm hoping for BTAS ear length, honestly. Maybe even a bit of the style

I really like the idea and the design too honestly. Idk why the problem with others is other than it not having ears I guess. It points to him being serious about his no kill rule to me too. The gun that took everything from him in an extremely violent manner will now protect him while being stripped of its most violent aspects.

This also. If the gun theory is true, that gives me hope that finally, goddamn finally, we're gonna get a Batman movie where he takes his most important character trait as seriously as the comics do.

I really like the handmade aspect. If he's in year two, then I expect he hasn't quite started to face any major villain yet. At least hand-to-hand.

This Is Bruce MFer Wayne. Why would he "hand-make" his cowl or suit. It just sounds ridiculous. We've already seen the batsuit making process in BB. I don't want another one of these to make sense of how realistic this is supposed to be. And is it so hard to ask for a Bat film taking place at the prime of his career? Why must we keep doing year one and two's and career beginnings, or at the end of their rope in BvS where they're all jaded. Why can't we get a fully formed Batman, in a fully formed batsuit.

Because of the material? If you look at a monochrome, ear-less cowl of Batman and Daredevil they can look pretty similar anyway. I don’t see the problem here. It’s not a turn off imo.

TellTale suit is really good blending both type of suits (anatomic style + armored style). Hopefully, if this (Rob Patt's test footage) is kinda early stages,if the end product look like this it'll be really cool:

With this clearer view, the way the cowl sorta curves outward at the top makes me think we might get the Kane ears.
