The BATSUIT Thread

The Justice League Mortal cowl. I love it. Better than TDKT, Batfleck, and Pattinson’s cowls IMO.

Only thing I don't like is the slight slope of the line from the point of his nose to his ears, which makes nose part higher than cowl extending towards his cheek.

Nose of the cowl should be pointed downwards and nose should be lower than cowl part at his cheeks/ actor's ears

Who cares what it looks like if Armie friggin Hammer was going to be underneath.

How do they deserve the right??
Because as part of the production team it's literally their movie? We as an audience have every right to criticize, but I'm completely uninterested in filmmakers being influenced by anything other than what they personally believe to be best for their film regardless of whether or not I like it.

That Mortal cowl is awesome, like everything else to ever come out about Mortal aside from a potentially lackluster cast (outside of their Batman, Manhunter and Lantern). Really think it would have been something special.

They have the right, bit different to 'deserving' the right. The audience deserve to have a good interpretation, they pay!!

Can't say I like it much at all. That nose is practically a beak and the downward sloping of the mouth opening is an odd design choice.
I honestly like Pattinson's better (now that I've warmed up to it).

looks like batflecks, minus the ears. Hammer is tall.. that would have been huge overall.

I think it should be noted that Hammer's suit was supposed to be super tactical and militaristic (the concept art for the film is wild), so it very well could just be a base and have something like goggles placed over top it with other changes

I mean that alone is still a cool base but I still think it would have been quite different from the final product when it was all said and done.

I like that one better than Batfleck's or Pattinson's, yeah.

That movie could have been incredible. Would have had the best action in any superhero film ever made.

I’m still sad Mortal never happened
It was pretty cool that Mortal and TDK were in development at the same time, we could have had two completely different Batmen a year apart from two fantastic film-makers. It's a shame George Miller projects always go through production hell.

With the worst actors in the business. Happy it never happened.
There's a lot of non-actors in Fury Road and they worked fine. I used to think Nic Hoult was a terribly boring actor but he ruled as Nux. I feel like it would have just been a one-off if anything; Nolan's trilogy was still going to go through concurrently, so it's not like Hammer was going to suddenly take over for Bale in TDKR. Also, Adam Brody seems like a better fit for Flash than either of the guys playing him on film/TV right now.

Difference is Fury Road’s main leads were Hardy and Theron, two great actors. Mortal was on some CW **** lol.

The Superman casting in particular was God awful . I don't care that Fury Road is arguably the greatest action film ever. The casting was sooooo bad and Miller doesn't always deliver in my opinion so I have every right to be skeptical.

100% agreed. That's how almost every artist draws it, and it just looks better and more slylish. The "line" of the outh opening, when the head is level, should *at least* be perfectly horizontal, but it defititely looks better if it sweeps up from the nose at least a bit. The nose should be like a downward-swooping beak, if only subtly.
