It may seem simple, but that's one of the things I really hope to see: those damn batarangs being used properly for the FIRST time in 10 live action movies.I’m curious about the presence of scallops in the cape. Can’t tell from that shot. The marketing illustrated image of him with batarang shows them off but I wonder if they’re actually there in the film.

Personally I think it always looks great and don't have the issue you mention about the skull area and mouth, but to each their own. That is definitely subjective.Yeah I know, I'd only shorten it a little, definitely not like Bale and Affleck's. It's just that sometimes Pattinson's cowl looks weird, specially in front, with the big skull area and wide mouth opening.
But overall, I love this suit so much, and I say that as a big Batfleck's suit fan.

Wow, I wish I had this bat-cowl knowledge haha. If that's for mobility, I'm fine then. As I said, not a big deal, it's just very different from what we've seen till now.Personally I think it always looks great and don't have the issue you mention about the skull area and mouth, but to each their own. However, I don't think it's possible to shorten the mouth opening "a little" in the way you are requesting. This style of mouth opening only works the way it does because the edge is fitted behind the corners of Pattinson's jaw. The jawline gives a natural edge for the cowl to hold against. As soon as you move that edge inward onto the surface of Pattinson's cheeks, you get that old gaping issue during speech and movement, which can only be mitigated by a hard rubber cowl. Then the actor looses the ability to turn their head etc. due to the material used.
This is beautiful!
I gotta disagree with you on these two points. My explanation regarding the jawline is well covered on the last two pages, so I won't rehash it, but the expression on this cowl is one of its greatest strengths. The blankness of it allows Pattinson's eyes to do all the talking, making this by far the most expressive we have ever seen. Vast improvement over the perma-scowl of previous cowl sculpts!Wtf that’s amazing. Best bodysuit ever. The cowl needs minor tweaks to the jawline, the expression, and the ears, but then this will be the perfect suit IMO.
Pattinson's lips are so good for Batman. They look how they draw it in the comics! Bale's lips too tiny and Val's lips too big!

I hope so...
It's the same suit. Slightly meh visual quality + clear attempts to artificially increase that visual quality means the suit looks a lot smoother. The belt looking yellow is just from the flashlight shining on the belt.
