They never did explain why the cylons thought she was special, did they? I mean, sure, she was receiving prophetic visions since childhood and God brought her ghost back until everyone could find New Earth, but how did the cylons know she was going to have a special purpose? And for that matter, what did that have to do with harvesting her ovaries?

Yeah her story is the one that i was kinda meh about to begin with because i was totally ok with her being a Hotshot pilot and that is it. On the otherhand i was enjoying what they did with the character and hoping for a resolution and i can only assume she was just left there for your interpretation. I do think it was kind a cop- out ending but it was still good. They could have gone another mile with it but they cut it short and that is what bothered me. It just kinda ended. I will still re-watch it so im not too that annoyed so that just goes to show how good it was.

well she was a healthy woman not affected by radiation and the Cylons were still trying to figure out biological reproduction

only Leoben thought she was special, and that's because he's a crackpot who listen's and tries to understand the words of hybrids.

maybe he did. He's one of my favorite characters. I hope the plan shed's some light on Leoben and what his agenda was/is. Everytime he shows up, things get really complicated.

Exclusive: 'Caprica' snags James Marsters!

Caprica exec producer Jane Espenson is using her powers as a charter member of the Whedonverse for good. Sources confirm to me exclusively that Buffy all-star James Marsters is joining the Battlestar Galactica prequel for a sizable arc.

Marsters will play a dangerous terrorist leader by the name of Barnabus Greeley in a minimum of three episodes. Driven by desires both moralistic and carnal, Barnabus is as lethal as he is unpredictable.

And no ones does lethal and unpredictable better than Marsters.

Caprica is set to make its Syfy debut on Jan. 22.

I have no doubt that Marsters can play a good villain, but if those first couple of seasons of Smallville are any indication, he didn't have much competition in the "best villain" category.

True, but still. He was awesome.

Smallville has its flaws to be sure, but you have to hand it to them, they've done more Superman mythos stuff than the movies have.

I'd rather watch Lois & Clark reruns than Smallville. Hell, give me some George Reeves episodes. Those shows never made me roll my eyes and shout "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS ****?!" to the TV.

I agree on the George Reeves series, but Lois and Clark can eat **** and die. My main problem with Smallville is that like 30% of their episodes per season are useless and that they've wasted so much time. Other than that, I find the show fairly enjoyable for the most part.

My main problem with Smallville is that like 30% of their episodes per season are useless and that they've wasted so much time.

You know, it's funny. I watch a bit of BBC America, and I always get annoyed at the fact that the average British TV show only lasts for about 5-13 episodes per season/series. Then I turn around to watch my favorite American dramas, and I get annoyed that each season is filled with too many "filler" episodes to meet the required 20 episodes per season. Smallville would probably be a better show if the network allowed the writers/producers to only make any many episodes per season as they felt necessary.

Some shows can handle it (Supernatural being one of them), but SV definitely is not one of them. I think they could thrive from having only 12-15 episodes a season.

QFT. It's a shame they totally killed off his character. His scenes w/ Lex were golden. It's good he's going to be on Caprica.

the main issue with Lois and Clark was that 'Superman' was kind of a sidekick...the show was decent, except for the last season

That's not saying much, given that all of the other smallvillains have been pathetic (aside from Lex, and maybe DD).

Marsters does rule though, and interplay between him and Polly Walker should be fantastic.

I just started watching Battlestar Galactica recently. half way through the fourth season on dvd the show is astounding, I feel stupid for missing it when it was on.
