Today may 7, 2007,is a day in the history of Spider-Man the character, that all Spider-Man fans should reflect upon.While movie attendance does not and has never equaled quality of film making, within the modern world of Pop Culture-Box Office is King. That being the case, then the character Spider-Man, based upon the concepts of Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, has established a landmark in acheivements within Pop Film Culture.The attendance records of Spider-Man 3 have set new records within the history of film.The Superman and Batman fans HATE our guts!It's something we should prepare for in the coming months and years.The Spider-Man movies have also contributed to the amalgamation and outright distortion of the Spider-Man mythos as well.Of the three movies the Spider-Man 3 movie was the farthest away from the source material(comics book) and one of the reasons given for the dislike by some comic book fans.I strongly suggest you see it again.See if you can figure out why regular movie goers love the movie.The Spider-Man Mythos is based upon the Silver and Bronze Age Spider-Man. But the Spider-Man MARKET is based upon any part of Spider-Man that is commercial to the broadest audience.Time will tell, but I beleive that the SIlver and Bronze Age Amazing Spider-Man and related comics will go up in value as a result of this cinematic sucess.I'm sure sales of the current Back in Black are going to continue to do very well. By name and costume(s) identification-Spider-Man is one of the most recognizable figures in the World.Now is the time for all Spder-Man comic book fans to turn their friends and family onto what you consider to be the WELL Written, Spidey stories.
But for today, a day in which Spider-Man 3 has set new,regained and broken all box offfice records within its first three days -let us stand with our hands over our hearts and shout
