Bring back the slow moving laser that slowly inches up towards your crotch, because we don't expect Mr. Bond to talk, we expect him to die.

Hehe - yeah, there are definately staples that we've seen over the years that would be worth re-exploring.

Re-introduce Moneypenny and the outer office.
Re-introduce Q (although I'd like to see them introduce him as Major Boothroyd) and the testing facility.
Give us a look at Bond's office and his home.
Alternate the DBS with the gorgeous new Lotus Evora (preferably white as a nod to the Lotus Espirit) and maybe even give him a Bentley Continental GT at some point as a nod to his old Bentley (or a SAAB if you want to nod to some of the books)
Lets have a ski sequence at some point.
Lets have a scuba sequence at some point.
How about an effort to establish a return of visually interesting and dangerous Bond villains?

TMWTGG is actually regarded as one of the worst Bond films in the series and it's not hard to see why.

It is for me.
Great villain. Beautiful looking locations. Great music. Beautiful woman. Great action sequences. A sense of humor that self aware a movie is suppose to be fun. A great duel off at the end. A great intro. A great ending. It's pretty much what I want out of a bond movie.

I guess they could afford to be weirder with it back in the 60s and 70s, but they've been trying to make today's villains more like the villains that are out there, like the Kim Jong-Ils and what not. Though he is pretty out there as is.

When I said villains, I should have said henchmen.

There have been some great Bond henchmen over the years (Grant, Oddjob, Jaws etc) all with their own physical distinctions who have tested Bond to his very limit, Zao from Die Another Die was probably the last of this ilk.

I'd definately like that tradition return - it could most definately be done in a way that isnt campy or silly.

I don't want to see sidekicks with gimmicks anymore. Red Grant wasn'y like Odd Job or Jaws. He was just hired by SPECTRE to track Bond and eliminate him. Plus it's Robert mother****ing Shaw.

I agree - Grant was awesome and was in the Scaramana, Travelyan camp in that they are relatively close to Bond in skill set - actually, I guess Mitchell would probably be put in that category too, being M's personal bodyguard he would have had similiar, extensive training.

While I love this eclectic group and think it would be great to see more character like that (Jason Isaacs as an assassin or rogue agent from either the U.K. or another secret service would be interesting) I do feel that they could offest Bond's more modestly realistic 'Rogues Gallery' by having more distintive henchmen also - you know, give it a bit of diversity for the sake of making things a bit more visually interesting.

Now I'm not necessarilly talking metal teeth or prosthetic metal claws here or anything like that, but I am suggesting characters with an interesting hook (not literally!!). Renard (however lame he was in the movie) was a decent stab at this approach, as was (as I have stated previously) Zao.

A hero lives and dies by the strength of his villains and I want to see more than Bond killing a slew of nameless guns for hire just for the sake of a bit of 'realism'.

These are all things i want Craigs Bond to do. Have Miss Moneypenny played by Keeley Hawes. Q Branch are mentioned alot of times in the Blood Stone game so hopefully MJ Boothroyed and Q Branch will return. I would love to see one of the new Lotus cars in the next movie and strangely ive always wanted to see Bond relaxing at home or down the pub with 006 and 008...:woot:

Yeah i agree. Id love Bond to have a Villain so powerful that he has to team up with another 00 or the SAS/SBS to take him out...

Any plotline that means we get to see other 00's is cool by me.

I love any opportunity to see the other 00's; not only to see what they look like but also to see how each one of them act around Bond. I mean, he's basically the star employee who takes risks, gets away with murder but eventually gets the job done - how woudl they all treat him? I'm sure some would like him, some would be a bit jealous and possibly dislike him.

The notion is certainly intriguing, to me at least.

Those 2 modern Lotus cars are fantastic, id love to see either in the next film. Id also like to see Bond driving around London/Countryside on a day off in his Aston Martin DB5 that he won in the poker game in Casino Royale.
I agree about the 00's, i always want to see what they look like and give names to them. I love the opening sequences to both The Living Daylights and Goldeneye and a large part of that is because they involve other 00's...

Definately, my favourite part of the Living Daylights is the opening, for that very reason.

And I think both you and I have agreed in the past that we'd like to see Bond in the U.K. a lot more so seeing Bond driving around London/Countryside more would be great.

I'd personally like to see bond in Scotland on vacation or something where someone from MI6 meets him to tell him about his next mission. Bond could be asleep in a boat on a lake near his vacation home or something. Then a woman pops out somewhere.

Love the idea of another 00 as well. Tom hardy, who would make a good Bond, would make another cool 00 agent.

Yes we have. One of my wishes for a future Bond movie is to have it set in England/U.K. and have 007 seconded to MI5 and have to work with them to stop the threat...

I'd like to see Bond in Tokyo or Hong Kong. I already suggested a foot chase in those locations in an Indy film, but for a Bond film it's more possible.

I like the idea of a rogue agent as well. Maybe a Bond film could revolve on the agents from organizations. Like a 00 joining Bond and them facing off against a rogue agent. Travelyn was already kind of the rogue 00 agent, so you'd have to do something different in that area.

Tom Hardy would make an awesome 006 or 008, but then he could not be a future 007...:csad:

That's the thing. Oh, well, there's other actors who could make a good Bond. I'd love to see Hardy play him, but I see Michael Fassbender doing a great job myself. His scene as Hicox in the pub in Inglourious Basterds was pretty much a Bond audition.

I was going to say we have seen too many rogue MI6 agents in recent movies such as Alec Travelyn/006, Miranda Frost and most recently Mitchell so id like to see MI6 agents who are straight up loyal.

Yes i agree he would make an excellent Bond.

Toby Jones would make a great Q. I'll thrown in Karel Roden as a Bond villian too.

John Gardner's Role of Honour or Licence Renewed (I forget which) it set in England and we get to see more of headquarters, Bond's cottage and an excellent car chase - I'd love it if they incorporated that into a future film somehow.

Tom Hardy, Michael Fassbender, Jeremy Notham, Jason Issacs - all guys who would either make interesting 00's/rogue agent's opposite Craig's Bond. Hell, imagine if they pulled off the ultimate coup and get Christian Bale as a rogue Soviet operative; I think I will have died and gone to heaven to see those two face off.

Christian Bales bad guy having a showdown with Daniel Craigs 007 and Tom Hardys 008 as brutal as the Goldeneye showdown would be a dream come true.

PS...Brian could you do me a favour and put up a couple of Keeley Hawes pictures up for me please, mine keep coming up as red x's

Tom Hardy or Bale makes me think Nolan is behind the scenes. The foot chase in Mombasa could have easily been in a Bond flick.

Watanabe could be the new Tanaka
